Amazing food and service. Our waiter, Niko, was very attentive and pleasant, and all of our dishes came out fresh and in a timely manner. Love the overall atmosphere, too; definitely a place that invites you to linger longer. My only complaint is that the cocktails could use some tweaking. The Vieja Escuela was far too smokey, and it obscured any subtle flavors from the rum/rye/other ingredients.

A truly great experience dining here. The restaurant is beautiful and the vibes were immaculate. We started with cocktails, the pisco sour adjacent drink and the sangria. Pisco Sour was so refreshing and the sangria was not too sweet or strong. For apps, we ordered the tequenos and the vuelve a la vida. The tequenos were cheesy and delicious. The vuelve a la vida had some heat to it but was very delicious, and I would recommend to share with maybe one other person, but no more than that. For dinner we had the octopus and the celebration of the tropics. The octopus was cooked perfectly and the potatoes added a nice bonus to the meal. The branzino was also fried perfectly, a couple of bones, but nothing crazy. The real star was the vinaigrette that it comes with and how it nicely balances the whole meal. For dessert we ordered the Guanabana merengon, which was not too sweet and was a good addition to the guanabana flavored items. My only feedback would be to add a little more variety to the menu, maybe one or two more items. Overall, I would highly recommend dining here!

Our group of 4 adults wandered into this restaurant looking for a happy hour drink and a snack at 3:15 pm on March 14. We were greeted by a waiter that was cold and disinterested. We asked for nachos and he responded with disdain that they did not serve nachos. After looking at the sparse happy hour menu we ordered chips, salsa and guacamole. Our tiny drinks arrived (mostly ice)along with our warm beers! We waited quite awhile for our food and received 6 large round chips with our dips. Food was ok, service was terrible. Would not recommend this restaurant.

If this isnt a Michelin-rated restaurant, it should be. Try the steak tartare, if it's available, the best i have ever had. The red wine sangria is pictured, but the white sangria is super good too. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the experts work their art. Fantastic!

Atmosphere is alright but the chicken we got was HORRIBLE, TINY, and oversalted to the point that it was inedible. The apps were alright. Super overpriced, not worth at all. No arepas either! That was the reason we went!

A delectable experience at this Venezuelan restaurant named Alma Cocina Latina. The thing i love about Baltimore is its culture and diversity amongst the food option. You get the opportunity to explore a multitude of cuisines. The excitement didn’t stop at Alma’s. We made reservations on a Thursday night, the day after Valentines Day and were able to arrive to the Resturant and be seated about 45min thereafter. Within 15-20 of arriving we were greeted, had couple photos taken, seated, ordered and began our first course: Aquachile & Crudo Nikkei. The seafood and fish tasted sooooo fresh! Drinks: Serenata (a mezcal Tequilla drink) & El Noño (a zero proof Seedlip Spice94 drink). Second Course: Duck Margret & Peruvian Octopus Anticucho Third. I love the vibrant and fragrant touches they tap into for a full pallet experience. Third Course: Desserts and I’m sorry but i cannot remember the names but everything was so delicious and every element of the meal was thoughtful and intentional. A pleasant experience while being in town for conference . ((I apologize for the lightening of the picture there was a very romantic and cozy low lighting vibe during dinner.))Dietary restrictions: Lo Sodium. No Red Meat options were able to be made

This was my second time at Alma for Valentine’s Day. The service is amazing. The food is incredible as well but the portions are TINY. Way too small for the price. The flavors were amazing and the chicken was perfectly cooked but it was 70% bone. Our check came out to $150 (we didn’t order drinks, only drank water) and we still left quite a bit hungry.

The food had great flavors. So many intriguing combinations and things that surprisingly paired well. The arepitas were amazing - and so were the desserts.

This restaurant is a true gem that seamlessly blends diverse culinary traditions into a harmonious feast for the senses. The innovative fusion of flavors is nothing short of extraordinary. Each plate is a work of art, and the presentation is almost as impressive as the taste. The staff's attentiveness and warmth add to the overall charm. An absolute favorite – I'll be returning again and again!

Love this place. First time we came was during restaurant week and everything was good. We came back a second time just ordered everything a la carte. I would come here just to eat the tostones and churros I’m with a drink! The burrata is also a good choice. The ceviche wasn’t my favorite and the mains this time weren’t too memorable though. For dessert, aside from the churros, the tres leches was really good with passion fruit sauce. It provides a nice contrast but honestly i could go without the sauce.Definitely put this place on your list!
