I traveled from Pennsylvania to get some steamed crabs, shrimp, and corn. I heard about Captain Joes when visiting a job site in Towson. So when the opening appeared for me to go, I went. I picked up 2 dozen crabs, a pound of shrimp and few ears of corn; my family enjoined every bit of it. I was very impressed and grateful for staff that prepared my order and the staff that gave me my order.

Ordered 2 dozen x- large. They had 1 dz large and 1 dozen extra large. They were so heavy , I had trouble picking up the bag. The crabs were amazing , heavy and delicious. We didn’t have 1 bad crab. It was a drive and will definitely be back

I usually don’t leave reviews but this place has some of the best crabs you will ever taste and they are consistently good not hit or miss the only other spot I know like this is crabs down under but captain joes prices makes the decision easy every time the are pound for pound the best crab place in Maryland and I hate to leave this review because I want them available when I call but they honestly deserve it

The staff was super nice and great customer service goes a long way with me. They are amazing people. Crabs were meaty, seasoned well and great flavor. Every time I come in town from Florida I go here. They run out of the XL crabs fast so get on it early. They definitely have my loyalty.

I rarely give a place five stars but I think this place deserves it because the crabs are so good to me. They are seasoned perfectly. Not too little, not too much. The prices are reasonable and comparable to those around town. I never have to wait a long time to get crabs. It doesn't hurt that they're only 5 minutes from my house. And the people always friendly. Now I'm suddenly craving crabs. I highly recommend this place. My husband doesn't eat crabs so we always gets the same shrimp and corn what he says is really good. Go check them out.
