This was one of my favorite meals I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional from beginning to end. The restaurant is elegantly decorated but not flashy. The wine pairings with each course was a wonderful touch and everything matched beautifully. The highlights were definitely the carbonara, the scallops, and the tiramisu, but every we ate was excellent. If you are looking for a place for a birthday, fancy date night, or anniversary, this is an excellent option right by the water.

Nice Italian Restaurant in Baltimore Ordered: (Prezzo fisso menu) (App) Grilled Rhode Island Calamari - 5/5 - Very unique presentation of calamari, I have not often seen it without breading in restaurants. It was very well cooked and had a lot of flavor thanks to the garlic and chillies. The crispy carrots were so unique and light. (Main) Spaghetti Nero - 4/5 - Excellent, strong squid ink flavor. The shrimp were slightly over cooked, but everything else was great and had excellent lobster flavor. (Main) Grilled Magret of Duck - 5/5 - The duck had such a crispy crust, and was very well cooked. The red wine sauce was very good and the crispy guanciale were so packed with flavor. This was my favorite dish. (Dessert) Peach Crostata - 2/5 - The crostata was a complete letdown. It was soggy and had a very unusual flavor, which was not great. The vanilla Chantilly and anglaise were good, but could not really salvage the dish. (Dessert) Sorbet - 4/5 - Nothing special, but tasted great. Love the atmosphere of this place. Our waitress was so nice. She kept checking in and had a lot of insight into the menu. We went with the 4 course menu for $76, which was good value. All of the food was pretty good with the exception of the dessert I got. The crostata was a flop that hurt the experience. That said, all of the other dishes were phenomenal and well executed. I would come back and order everything again (apart from the crostata).

Our server Olivia was the best! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. When I asked Olivia which cheese was closest to gouda, she suggested the fontina. Excellent choice.I had the scallops and my daughter had the rigatoni. Both were great. The bread was okay, but other than that everything else was great!Parking: Free valet!

My wife selected this restaurant during a trade show last November on a night which was also my birthday. We chose the wine pairing menu. The Charcuterie, inventive cocktails and incredible dishes were all outstanding. I've never had such well-coordinated pairings! There were subtleties of flavors, even among the bold ones, that complimented and lifted up the dishes to another level. The kind of melding that can only come from experience. Our server was expertly knowledgeable and had been there for about 10 years if I recall correctly. His performance was impeccable as were the rest of the staff we met! After a local client placed an order with me for another cello, and since it is now my wife's birthday, I decided to drive down to deliver the instrument in person. I love visiting my clients but my first thought was that we'd get to bookend our birthdays at one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. We'll see you soon!

The service was very slow. We arrived at 7pm, but our main entrees didn't come until 8:40pm. They took a long time to serve us wine and apps. Server doesn't come by us to take orders (I had to flag the server down every time). Food was great, but not sure if I would wait that long again.

Oh friends! What an unexpected surprise. I stumbled into this restaurant late on a Friday night. First of all, I have passed by this restaurant a thousand times and never gave it any attention. As I found a parking spot right in front of it, my friend said, "hey, have you been here before? No... let's try it!" Well... why the heck not!? OMG! I got the Bronzino with cauliflower and hazelnuts. A foodie's dream. The fish was so perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. Cooked to perfection. The place is cute and has a classic ambiance. The service was exceptional! They have a very extensive menu. I will ABSOLUTELY be returning soon. It brought so much joy to my Friday evening!

Cinghiale is one of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore and I have gone there since their early beginnings, so I'm not sure how I haven't yet reviewed it. Everything can be ordered a la carte, but there is also a prixe fixe option that is appealing. In my opinion, the service has gotten less consistent and/or attentive over the years, but the food is worth it, and they have a classy yet lively ambiance. It's also a good pick for a special occasion, as with other venues in the Foreman Wolf portfolio.

The best cocktails!! The wine list is truly impressive. Bartenders are so so knowledgeable. Had plenty of delicious gluten free options including pasta! The signed wine bottles add such a cozy and warm energy to the space. Don't miss a piece of the tiramisu with an espresso martini for desert.

Had a delicious dinner here. Did the tasting menu option. The meal was well paced and I appreciated lot of pescatarian options. Highly recommend the affogato dessert and calamari appetizer.

The service/interaction with staff was absolutely atrocious. I have literally had better service at a Cheesecake Factory. I was highly disappointed in the poor work ethic of our first server, who mixed up wine with martinis and delivered 3 wrong drinks. It would have been possible to overlook this mistake, however she then proceeded to deliver wrong dishes, serve them to the wrong people, and did not remove the incorrect dishes from the check. I did highly appreciate the apology from what seemed to be a manager, as well as the service provided by the second host. Yet my slightly lightened mood was immediately soured by the lady who approached us and essentially accused us of LYING about what we ordered. This was highly offensive. We aren't cheap kids trying to get a few dishes off the check so we can afford dinner. We were incorrectly served extra carbonara by a sloppy server, then informed that we would not be charged for the extra dishes. The lady that came up to us had a very arrogant attitude and went as far as to point at one of the girls at the table, accusing her of ordering something she did not. She also asked the birthday girl "What would you like me to do about that?" in regards to the extra carbonara. This would have been a nice gesture if she hadn't clearly been gritting her teeth and waiting for one of us to say we'd just pay for food. Obviously we are not going to pay for food served to us BY ACCIDENT, especially when we were subsequently informed we would not be charged for it. Overall I am highly disappointed by this experience; I had very high hopes. I hope that this debacle will encourage management to ensure staff is more efficient and polite when dealing with guests.

My friend and I were in town for a work conference and were looking for somewhere special to get a meal on our final evening in town. Cinghiale came highly recommended by various people, and for good reason. We both got the $71/ per person prezzo fisso and everything was amazing, literally well worth the price point. Our server was very attentive even though there seemed to be a large party in the other room that often required all hands on deck. We never waited for anything, as soon as our water glasses needed filling there she was to top us off. Our meals came out hot and delicious and our server was great with answering any questions that we had and made some great recommendations for us. A couple of things didn't quite hit the mark but that is definitely just from personal preference. I will absolutely dine in again when I return to the Baltimore area.
