This is the first restaurant where I have found authentic Chinese food in Baltimore since moving here in 2006. The niu rou mian (beef noodle soup) is excellent. So is the jianbing, Peking duck buns, and lamb samosa. Very happy I found this place thanks to the Baltimore Brew article.

This is our first time here and we will definitely be back to try other dishes. We had the tofu soup and a beef and chicken dish with rice and small potatoes. We also ordered bread sticks to dip into our soup. Everything was tasty. Music is delightful. We did not like ordering from a screen and would have much preferred ordering from a person. However, this is a great addition to the neighborhood and we hope it will work.

Ordered 6 items. Good was subpar. Dough stick was cold and hard to chew. Tofu soup was nothing like what we have back in China. Noodle was salty and nothing else. Haggis soup came only 1/3 of the bowl. Pathetic portion and it was never supposed to have intestine. It was so disgusting. The only thing good was probably the lamb Samos.Would never recommend this place.

First time trying this place and it was really good. Nice inside atmosphere and it was easy to order. We had the chicken dumplings (so fresh and tasty!), the signature chao bing stir-fried noodles, and the Taiwanese minced pork dish with veggies and rice. It was all delicious. Will definitely be back to try more items from the menu.
Have you ever seen braised chicken rice heated in a microwave? There is oil on the plate and it is served without wiping the plate clean. If you change the plate, I will not blame you. The meat of the steamed buns is hard.

Went for lunch, definitely a small sit down spot but the food is excellent. Really great Chinese food that is unlike what you will get in the city. I'm not saying it's better or worse than a place like NiHao just that it's different, both are good. The food is super tasty and well made. The staff is also super friendly. Will definitely be going back.

I love Colala Grind Express! I just finished my fourth meal here, all dining in, and each time has been a satisfying dining experience. The food is great. I especially like the braised dishes and the pineapple bread. The dining room is very attractive and clean. The background music is soothing and conducive to conversation. The employee I've interacted with each time is a sweet guy and eager to help. It's a little pricey but we'll worth it to me.

Hands down some of the best, most flavorful food I’ve ever had. Immediately as it came out I could smell the herbs and spices, once I took my first bite… I was amazed.The service is great and so friendly.If you are ever in the area I would definitely say to go here over any other place. I will be back everytime I can!!!!
