Visited The Dashery @ The Revival Hotel because its 1.5 blocks from my new home and because I have a nephew named "Dash(iell)", its French. Ben worked with us - excellent customer service, very accommodating & even found chicken for Obie, my service animal! Those who are kind to my dog get a platinum star from me - very special. Our food was delicious - breakfast sandwiches are what they are known for and they deliver!! Tasty italian sodas too! Ben even found a hat for my "zestful" nephew! GO-SEE-BEN! (Photo to come)

Took an old law school friend here for excellent views of the Washington Monument. It reminded us of our days at UB Law hanging on the 13th floor of the Belvedere. The drinks, food and service were excellent.

The view is phenomenal -- even on an overcast rainy day. But don't just go for the view -- I was happily surprised at how good the food was: branzino, short rib, mushroom soup -- all outstanding. We also had the lobster pasta -- the pasta was perfect, the bits of lobster were a little overcooked for my taste. And we had the bread basket, which I thought was pricey ($14 for bread), but it was delicious and plenty to share for 3 (or 4) people.

Prices have definitely risen since some past visits. The view is great and we enjoyed the food and drink options. It felt like the place needed a little bit more polish (wobbly table, online menu and open hours out of date).

Amazing!! The food is top notch, appetizer entree and dessert. So glad we made the drive out! The ambiance is great and there's an awesome view of the city. Such a great experience!

The service was really terrible. We were one of only a few tables. The food took over an hour and was not hot. The waitress kept forgetting our drinks. It took 20mins to get a beer, we were too afraid to order a second cocktail because of how long it would take. Honestly prob one of the worst service experiences I've had in a long time. Would definitely keep me from recommending and I've been several times before with no issue. For spending $350 feel like we were robbed on what was supposed to be our celebration. Especially since the restaurant was basically empty.

The table was changed but they didn't give us an option to choose. The noise was a lot for a family gathering. The Gluten free option was really limited. Even the sorbet was out, so no dessert option for 2 guess. Server never asked to refill the drinks or add ice to the water pitcher. Loved the view but wished for a better table.

Loved Topside! Charcuterie board and the add-on bread selection as outstanding. Both of us had the black lobster pasta which was presented with a very clever shell construction over well cooked black noodles. Also, our Peabody Institute student server was efficient and lovely. Definitely worth a return visit!

A very nice experience. Food was very good, not mind blowing. Service was also very good. The price points are reasonable. Overall, a good experience if you're looking for a quality dinner that's in the $40-$60 per person range. If you have time before your reservation (after 7pm), go to B-Side, the speakeasy. That experience was phenomenal. Drinks are pricey, but the ambiance and the service were outstanding.

It's a hotel lobby, with all of the cozy connections with the wide world of travelers and bagels..... :)

To start, the view is great! The drinks were good, the bread plate is generous and varied (probably good to split between 3 or more people) and the mains we had were delicious! On the critical side, the mushroom soup was more of a mushroom puree and didn't have much depth of flavor, the food took a surprisingly long time to come out, and every time I tried to catch the wait staff, they hurried by me. To be fair, they were kind and helpful when they did speak with us. I might go back, depending on the occasion and prices.

Well, those 4 stars are 4.5. Wonderful place in a beautiful setting. The drinks were well made and the food was quite good. Set atop the Hotel Rivival, a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the Mount Vernon neighborhood. We came here for a birthday dinner and drinks. Small menu, but food is well done. Wide selection of cocktails and signature drinks. Complementary birthday ice cream, nice touch. The view is spectacular.

Great for breakfast and snacks and or quick eats I would recommend it if your staying at the hotel

Special evening with Monument lighting. Chef accommodated my special request. Wish there was more vegetarian options. Great service (Chloe) and excellent crowd. Will definitely return. The jazz band was awesome although a little too loud for my liking. Views are monumental! Pun intended! Recommend stopping in for a crafted cocktail as well.

This is the second time I've visited and have had an issue with the kitchen. On this occasion, the menu online does not accurately reflect the updated menu inside. We ordered based what was presented. The burger came out with a slab of ham. We do not eat pork for religious reasons. After advising the server of the difference on the menu and the intolerance of pork the food was sent back. Less than three minutes later, the burger was sent back with the ham removed and still gravy and pork byproducts on the burger. Extremely disrespectful. If you have allergies or intolerance, I would not eat her. It is evident that the kitchen staff is poorly trained on cross contamination and service. If I would have not been paying attention this could have caused me to become extremely ill. The manager was prompt to hear the complaints and comp the bill. Overall, this is a great place but the kitchen lacks every time. I would highly suggest only visiting for cocktail hour.
