Came here due to a friend’s suggestion and the food did not disappoint, well except the lobster bisque. BUT the lump crab cake, the soft shell crab, and the butterfly shrimp were all good. I have not had soft shell crab such as this in a long time and it was tasty. Wifey loved the crab cake. Lil man got the butterfly shrimp but he was more interested in my soft shell crab lol. Unfortunately, the bisque was okay. There was no lobster meat in it. Surprisingly the potato salad was a hit as well!!Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Baltimore. Plus there is garage parking right next door.

I was in Baltimore for a volleyball tourney and friends planned to do lunch Saturday at Faidly’s. I ordered the crab soup and flounder a la Carte. It took maybe 8 or so minutes and was piping hot. It came with 2 slices of bread. I ate the soup first because the fish was so hot to hold. We beat the lunch crowd and got there by 11:30. It was all great and would definitely recommend.

I like the ambiance. The crabcakes are huge but cold and pre-made. The lobster bisque is not that good. The fries and coleslaw are the best thing going. I don't believe I'll go again. Not worth the $$$$

Best crab cakes in the world alone with other tasty seafood and sides. The new space inside Lexington Market is great.

Everything was great! Just warning though...the price of a crab cake has skyrocketed! I remember when they were $9 to $12. Now they are $26. Because I have not been home in 2 to 3 years!

Definitely not the best crab cake. My lump crab cake sandwich was served cold, which is not what I expected for $25. Never again. Only giving 2 stars because the fries were hot.

This is hands down one of the number 1 best seafood restaurants in the state of Maryland.

It's always a good day when I can go home and stop at Faidley's. I just need more of their crab cakes in my life - although it's no longer as easy to eat here as it once was - that's my fault for needing to juggle squirming toddlers with hot crab.

I have been eating at Faidley’s for over 50 years; mostly lump crab cakes and/or steak fish sandwiches w/macaroni salad for side. I have always enjoyed and appreciated the quality of the food there, and make it my business to stop there whenever I’m in Baltimore. On Friday, 4/6/2024, I had the occasion to stop at Faidley’s new location within the recently renovated Lexington Market. The first thing I noticed prior to ordering my food was that the price of the lump crab cakes had increased to $26+ after tax. Ordinarily I wouldn’t have had a problem with the price, because I generally don’t mind paying for something that I want for me; it’s worth whatever I’m willing to pay.Anyway, I purchased the lump crab cake and it was the ABSOLUTE WORST!! It was full of filler; definitely not the traditional lump crab cake that I’ve grown accustomed to over the many years of patronizing Faidley’s. No flavor at all!! For $26 it was disgusting!!! Needless to say, I’m very disappointed that an institution like Faidley’s Seafood would compromise the quality of their food and their once-stellar reputation to cut costs and save money. UNBELIEVABLE!! Proceed with caution.⚠️
