I ordered a large Americano that was fantastic. The only thing that would have made it better was having two! I also enjoyed an amazing cinnamon roll.

Formula Espresso is conveniently located inside the hotel we were staying in. The service was FANTASTIC and the breakfast sandwiches (bacon, egg, cheese on a croissant) were DELICIOUS. We chose coffees to go which were also great. Highly recommended.

Decent chai latte. Sweeter than I would have liked but convenient if you're staying at the hotel and pricing is average.

I'll start off by saying that the hotel was adequate. Common areas were nice and some staff were incredibly helpful. My first concern was that my phone hotel phone kept ringing in the middle of the night. I couldn't reach the jack to unplug it and when I would call the front desk to notify them of this, no one would answer. I asked for the phone to be unplugged from the wall the next day and it was never unplugged. It required moving furniture to do so. My next concern is the amenities fee. Which is not charged until the end of your stay. When I checked out with the front desk upon leaving the hotel, I asked if my account was settled and they indicated that it was and that I had pre-paid. I asked for a receipt and they said one had already been emailed to me. The never mentioned that an $88 charge would be added to my company card after I left the hotel. I tried for weeks to get in touch with their accounting department and no one answers. I left messages that were not returned. It took calling customer service and waiting on hold for a very long time to speak to someone who finally clarified the charge and refused to remove it when I accused them of not being transparent. I would caution you when staying at this hotel of their hidden fees and charges.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. I was here for two nights for a work trip and the staff were absolutely amazing. Big shoutout to Annette at the front desk and Kevin at the bar. They made our experience 10x better. The staff is super friendly, funny, and made us feel comfortable. If I’m ever back in Baltimore, I would stay at this hotel again. Thank you Annette, Kevin, and the rest of the staff! <3

Such a beautiful hotel that reminded me of a Boutique style hotel. Our room was very spacious and the harbor view was amazing! We loved the window seat looking out to the harbor. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked great! Bathroom was very well equipped and we love the rain shower head! James the bellman was very helpful and friendly!

We felt like our choice to stay at this hotel was very much appreciated by the staff. We must mention Michelle at the front desk; James, the valet; and Shane, the front office manager. They were very understanding of our special circumstances (wheelchair/disabled access), and assured us that they will share our concerns with the management. We will definitely stay here again.

The Royal Sonesta was a superb experience from beginning to end. The rooms were large with superb views; the indoor pool on the 7th floor was delightful and well maintained; free bottled water at the front desk was available at will. Above all, the staff was exemplary. At the fron desk, Annette, the manager; Michelle; and Ashli greeted us warmly and answered questions. Tony graciously took our luggage and alerted us to the hotel's facilities. Jose halped us as we left. The "maid" service was excellent. We were a family using three rooms, two couples and a single, and stayed for three days over the July 4 holiday. We all agreed that we would be happy to return and hope to do so.

Good location and comfortable room BUT the service was definitely sub-par. The price of the room was hyper-inflated because of the Preakness the weekend we were there. For over $800, we got the harbor suite view. The front desk concierge was unhelpful and uninformed. We were charged twice for our room and it took two people more than 30 minutes to figure out how to issue a credit. Also, there was no bellhop for valet service and no-one to greet us upon arrival. For what the hotel was charging, it was way overpriced given the non-existent and unknowledgeable staff. What's more, we happened to have an impromptu conversation in the garage with another couple who were also very displeased with the level of service. That confirmed it for me that we were not just being too picky. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Stayed there in early July 2023. Hotel was decent but still could smell old cigarette smoke. Further, I left an item there and after MULTIPLE phone calls finally was connected to front desk whereupon the representative transferred me to housekeeping, where I was then put on hold again and then asked to leave a message. I am not very convinced I will get a return call.

Hotel was nice and clean and good for the price. The staff was very nice and polite. The valet (the man - wanted to remember his name but totally forgot) was AWESOME. His personality is spot on for his job. The front desk was pleasant to deal with and the hotel has an old school feel (elevators) but yet up to date accommodations. Ice machine on every floor and clean. Bathroom was clean and the kitchen area was decent. They provide you with complimentary water in the kitchen area and paid water in the main part of the room. Opt for the free water. It is the same :-) There is a safe in the room but it is horizontal so not much can fit in it and there is also a small fridge. *One thing to note is that parking is in a lot around the corner and you have to go through a building and then through the lot to a door that connects to the hotel but for a solo traveler or female it could be a little scary. Also - there is a fee for parking. You pay a flat rate per day and can come and go all day but you do have to pay. Your ticket has to be validated by the front desk staff for the in and out entry. Location is awesome for the Harbor (across the street) and safe for the most part. Can be a little desolate at night.

First, the hotel itself was wonderful -- well-located for access to all Inner Harbor restaurants and sights to see, and well-appointed: nice gym, pool, and coffee facilities; nice bar. I really want to thank the person in charge of your Lost and Found -- I was in a hurry to catch an Uber to the airport at 3 a.m. and somehow left some of my favorite sandals behind, and Kayla Thompson reached out after I sent an inquiry to say she was FedExing my shoes to me. She even sent a photo to verify them :). That seemed so "above and beyond" in terms of service, especially since she said the shipping was free of charge -- wow. That made me a Royal Senesta customer for life. I really appreciate how nice she was and how great your customer service in general seems to be. Thank you!

James Howard was of excellent help with my luggage and guiding me through everything. He was patient, informative and kind . It gave me a great first impression of this hotel. That is a very refreshing and reassuring way to start a stay.

This was our second attempt at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore. We went a year ago and were given a voucher to return for a free night’s stay as compensation for our horrific first visit. Now, I’m the first to admit that our issues were “first world issues, ” but this is a four star hotel that is rather expensive. On both our visits, we were unable to have a bath towel or a pillow per person for our room during the duration of our stay. My family typically likes 2 pillows per person, and I don’t find that completely unrealistic for a higher echelon hotel. I feel that expecting a bath towel per person is something I could expect from a roadside motel off of a major highway. When we checked in today, there was one towel for four of us. I tried to call housekeeping or the front desk, but the phone in our room did not work and my NUMEROUS calls from my cell phone were never answered. I found a housekeeping cart in the hallway, asked for towels and was told that she was not able to accommodate a total of 4 towels for a room with 2 queen beds without her supervisor’s approval. She called and could not get ahold of anyone. I was definitely left to have the impression that one towel per room is not uncommon. We left and went to dinner. I attempted to call the front desk several times during our dinner to no avail. Finally, I decided to just check out and drive the two hours home. I was unable to receive any assurance or print out since it was the same calendar day as we checked in. I attempted to explain WHY we were leaving and I was completely ignored. When I arrived home, we got a text welcoming us to the hotel and asking if I needed anything. With a sense of irony, I replied and requested a phone call. It’s been several hours and no call, so I think it’s a good thing we just left. It’s such a shame. This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are lovely and have very nice amenities AS LONG AS you don’t mind sharing one towel and two pillows amongst your four family members. On our last adventure here, we had one HAND towel for three of us and NO pillows…so perhaps things are improving? Unfortunately I will not be back.
