The service at the bar is not very friendly. Everyone seems very annoyed by the customers. I ignore them, but make you feel uncomfortable. So ridiculous. The restaurant on the back is beautiful. The food is good but very expensive.

Very good high end American fair. We were in a large group and had a set menu. All item where prepared well and tasted great. The drink menu was vast and unique, I had a sparkling passion fruit lemonade which was new to me. I would like to return to try the full menu.

Lovely outdoor space in the back. Maybe the best courtyard dining in Baltimore. The oysters, hot pot, and panna cotta were all delicious.

Great experience for a team dinner upstairs. The menu was great, and the Brussels sprouts were especially good. Steak could have been prepared better, but the oysters were excellent.

No printed menu's, you had to look it up on your phone. Coctails were not strong at all. Appetizer of porkbelly was a piece of overcooked pork that was 1/2" thick. You only got one soft crab on the dinner with greenbeans and it was poorly prepared and very expensive at $36. Rolls were not served unless you ordered them at $12!!!. Prices are extremely high for the food and drinks, in addition they put the "Labor or Love" 3% surcharge on the bill. Service was very good and friendly, the atmosphere is chic/charming. Will not go back.

We had quite an enjoyable dining experience at Gunther & Co. last week. The food was great as was the ambiance and the attention.

My wife and I used to love this restaurant. Today we braught our pregnant daughter, a Baltimore county school teacher, to eat there for Easter brunch. Our daughter is a vegetarian so she wanted the childrens grilled cheese and fries. The waitress and manager told us they couldn't because they only had a certain amount for kids 12 and under. There were only 8 children in the entire place. They couldn't accommodate 1 grilled cheese sandwich! Besides, we prepaid online for 3 adults so why not accommodate, they were making more for less. HORRIBLE customer service! We will never eat there again!

Poor service by Carolyn and food was awful. My daughter wanted to have brunch at Gunther & Co. for her birthday but what a waste of time. All 5 of us were disappointed. Let’s start with the attitude of our waitress Carolyn. We asked could the sausage and bacon be cooked just a little bit more, she replied no, the food is not made to order. The manager comes over and takes care of it, as I am giving Carolyn the sausage that is not cooked, she laughs as if something was funny which is not acceptable. Our French toast was burned, runny scrambled eggs and hashbrowns that taste like I ate an onion pickle. But the atmosphere is very nice.

The menu is pricy with a burger starting at $16 +2 for a selection of cheese +2 for 2 strips of bacon and an hour wait. The lighthouse a few blocks away is not as nice but, fun, faster and more affordable.

Had the dumplings, pork belly, and charred octopus. I've been here multiple times and the service and atmosphere are always great.

We had a large dinner party at Gunther and Co and the consensus of the group was that we would all be back. The food was so delicious! Even the simple dishes were done so well. We ordered the pork chop and the halibut, but everyone got something different. The apps and cocktails were also well crafted and delicious. And our server took our app and dinner orders at the same time to make sure everything came out in a timely manner. There was a never a moment where we were wondering where the food was. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and the drinks and was so kind. This place was immaculate from start to finish and we can’t wait to go back!

This is one of my go-to brunch spots! The food is always good (wish they had more standard griddle items like french toast & pancakes though.. not a fan of the french toast on the menu now).Either way, the drinks were great, our food was great (farm scrambled eggs w/ hanger steak and those delicious donuts!).Our server, Steven/Stephen, was great! He has a really fun personality and he was very attentive. It seemed like all of his tables enjoyed him. He struck a great balance between being conversational/personable and making sure everyone was taken care of in a timely manner. Great experience so thank you!Overall good experience at Gunther, as usual. We will be back again soon :)
