my friend has been to this restaurant and really liked it so we decided to try it. i got the seaweed salad and the steamed buns but with veggie only. my friend got the chicken wings. the seaweed salad was good and was a generous portion. the veggie steamed buns only had lettuce and sauce - the sauce was good but i expected some veggies in the bun the wings my friend got looked really good - had lots of meat, good flavor and nice crunch overall good food and nice ambiance

I would love to give this establishment 5 stars but unfortunately there was a very long stringy hair in my leftovers box. The restaurant is very nice, ample space, great drinks, food was amazing! Service was great as well. It was my first time visiting and my girlfriend and I went on a Friday afternoon. We had a great time and unfortunately the only negative was the long brown hair in my food that I was looking forward to enjoying. I will say we were seated where we had a small view of the kitchen and servers would occasionally go in and fix their hair

The wings are AMAZING! One of my coworkers brought them in for a party and oh my.....mmmmmm so good. I can't wait to go to the restaurant and get more!

Nice venue and the food was delicious. There's a parking lot across the street that I used, but I'm not sure if it's open to the public. Customer service was GREAT. They had a private event when I arrived, but the hostess told me to give her my # and she would text me when a table opened up. I didn't expect her to, but she kept her word. A plus.

I'm new to Baltimore and I am so glad I found this restaurant! If you go you here you MUST try the chicken wings. They are exactly what you would get if you got them in South Korea. So crunchy and full of flavor. The Kalbi is fantastic, the bibimbob is so good. So far everything I've tried has been great. Also the soju martinis are delicious. But I usually just buy a bottle of grapefruit soju and a hite and drink on those. So good. A must try!

Cool place. The Baltimore area has a bunch of very quality Korean restaurants. Not sure if this one has the *best* quality food (my tofu stew was a bit too sweeta dn my egg came fully cooked, though it had a good seafood flavor, and the fried chicken was a bit soggy), and not particularly friendly staff (we waiting tne minutes to have our server approach us and take our order), but I'm giving it five stars for what it is and what it advertises itself for what it is: a place to drink soju and listen to jazz. An interesting combination, I admit, which I why I decided to try it out. Great for date night (unlike many other Korean restaurants where I sometimes worry is overwhelming for my non-Korean dining partners). I went twice, once without the namesake jazz performance. The soju was fair priced and their cocktails pretty good too. We came back after being treated well by an extremely friendly owner, who also suggested we return on Saturday evening when there would be live jazz. Waaay better. We chilled there for a couple hours enjoying the soju buzz and some anju (sides). Definably helps to like jazz. So, regardless of not extraordinary food and service, I'm giving it five stars for being meeting expectations exactly and bringing a trendy Korean food joint to Charm City.

Tasty food, service is a little slow. The only downside.

The fried chicken is ALWAYS super crispy and very moist. Kimchi pancake is very flavorful and not greasy. The stone bowls are delicious and authentic. I not a big fan of soju mixed drinks, but they have Sapporo on tap! The fried chicken wings are the star... mild or spicy. I dont really seek out fried chicken, but this place has the best wings in the whole city! Everyone else overcooks, undercooks, soggy, too salty, too much sauce, too little sauce... THIS PLACE MAKES PERFECT WINGS!! The korean food is made with love and you can taste it.

The food was very tasty and especially the good attention from Alejandro our waiter, we had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday, we will be back very soon

I can't believe I hadn't rated Jazz and Soju. I can't wait to go back. There are so many pluses. Parking garage right there. Great and friendly staff. Delicious food and drinks. It was a ladies night and we had a great time. We sampled a bit of everything on the menu but the chicken is a tasty standout. I definitely recommend this place. And with so many restaurants in Baltimore, I only return to the best and this one I will return to.

We came to Jazz and Soju because the other restaurant nearby was over an hour wait and we called before hand and they said that they had immediate seating available. We ordered the bulgogi fries, cauliflower, and the half spicy half mild chicken wings. To be honest, the wings were pretty good for being in Baltimore! I like korean style fried chicken because it is extra crispy and tossed in sauce, able to be eaten with rice. If you have been to bonchon before I think these wings are better than bonchon and the size of these wings are bigger than bonchon. The spicy wings were, SPICY. I am usually good with spicy but I think that these were pretty spicy The ambience of the restaurant itself is nice; however, it was kind of dark so not a good place to try and catch up with an old friend or even a date in my opinion. But if you want to do that bring home the food!

I'm so happy to have an authentic korean fried chicken place in baltimore city! the double fried chicken is crispy and perfect! i would recommend the half and half! it's not painfully spicy, but a good kick. the sweet ones are my favorite though. the kimchi fries are yummy. the kimchi pancakes are a must! my favorite dish is probably the glass noodles (japchae)!

Beautiful, but small restaurant. If you have a large group, call a day or so ahead of time. The food was served hot and was simply amazing. They served the water in these beautiful copper mugs. I want some for my house!! The service was great!! The fried pork dumplings were amazing!!

This is a special place with a clean, excellent ambiance. Our party was immediately welcomed and given a cold copper mule of ice water. A+
