We came here for the first time and had an excellent meal. The food was definitely a 5, the only issue was that it was SO loud that we couldn't hear each other talk and that definitely took away from the experience. But for delicious food I would definitely come back. We had the guacamole, ceviche and elote appetizers. All were fabulous. Then tried the fish, shrimp, duck and steak tacos, all very good. The chicken mole was delicious and so were the mole enchiladas. And the arugula salad was great. The margaritas were very good as well.

Came here for a quick bite with a friend and had a lovely time. The hostess was very sweet, and our waiter was both attentive and knowledgeable, especially about the day's specials. The bar area looked stunning, and I generally loved the decor and layout of the space. I had visited their previous location once a few years ago and can confidently say this new space works a lot better for their ambience. While I didn't try any of their drinks this time, I will definitely come back as their cocktail menu looked amazing. I ordered the queso fundido and was pleasantly surprised that this appetizer was actually a shareable size. I have not tried their entrees so I can't speak to their dinners, but definitely an excellent happy hour spot!

Lovely restaurant with ambiance and delicious food! The visit did have a bit of a rough start, however. We were looking for a restaurant with open reservations during Easter weekend and were able to secure one here. Initially there was resistance from the host over our seating request of a two-top in a less crowded section. After my boyfriend spoke up, he obliged. Next, the same host was standing near the kitchen opening in the rear, with full view of the restaurant, yet no one stopped by our table for 15 minutes. As the host eventually walked past our table, we made eye contact, which was when he asked had we been helped. He then took our food order. He had a stern word with the server, however service is a team effort, and the host should have noticed within 5 minutes that we had not been helped. After all, he was just standing there doing nothing. The server seemed to be overwhelmed and did not interact with us much. I asked for dessert and he asked did I want it to-go, which to me said he was ready to go home, so we needed to pack it up. That said, the elotes, salmon and churros were delicious! I would eat here again.

The restaurant space is nice, modern and open. When you enter, there's a full bar to your right and an open kitchen in the back. It's vibrant and busy, a great space to get a meal with a group of friends. We had a party of five, did not have a reservation and had to wait around 15-20 minutes for a table. Our waiter was very friendly and there were no complaints on the service. Only minor issue was it took a while for Topo Chico to come out, when everyone else got their drinks which included a beer and a couple of mocktails. We ordered some fish, pork belly and short rib tacos as an appetizer and shared the tomahawk steak. Everything was very good and tasty. One of the short rib tacos tasted a bit dry, but overall we had a good experience. When we left the restaurant, everyone including the hostess and manager saw us out and thanked us. I will definitely come back with more friends and family. ***Update*** Came back for more: suadero tacos, chicken quesadillas w/ extra pico de gallo, Mexican coke, white sangria and the tres leches. Another great meal! Got Luis as our waiter again and he made our experience just as memorable.

Delicious food and cozy, ambient atmosphere. Service was excellent too. All around a good date night spot. It can be a little noisy when crowded, but it's still an enjoyable place!

New location, same amazing taste. Had the braised beef mole tacos and they were still amazing. Wifey had the green mole enchiladas which she loved. Right amount of spice and super flavorful. Child had the chicken quesadilla which she ate all of (not your typical cheese, which was a welcome difference). Ensalada mixta was refreshing but the chicken was a little too burned but the lime vinaigrette had the right mix of tang and sweetness. Tres leches recipe has seemingly changed but for the better. Its like a mix between flan sauce and 3 leches cake. We all loved it.

was ok nicely presented but bland. Service was very good. What makes this a two-star experience was the NOISE level. Even our waiter couldn't hear us! Really unpleasant trying to have a conversation with old friends! If you want Mexican in Fells Point and also want to hear what your friends are saying try some of the smaller less slick local eateries in the neighborhood.

This place was amazing! The service was great. We made a reservation in advanced and we were seated immediately. The waitress was super nice and explained a few things on the menu for us and when we finally ordered it came in a very timely manner. We got an appetizer of guacamole and chips and elote. The guacamole was super flavorful and the chips were perfect - not stale at all. The elote was so good and flavorful as well, my whole meal could have been that and I would have been more than happy. For the main course we got three different types of tacos. Brisket, fish, and pork belly tacos. They were all delicious and I would definitely order them again. Would probably say that the fish tacos were my least favorite because for some reason they didn't have as much flavor, but the other two were pretty even in terms of how much I liked them. For dessert we got an order of churros. They were so good and fresh, I wish I had more room in my stomach to eat way more than I did.In terms of price, I would say they are a little expensive costing $17 for three smallish tacos, but as long as you get an appetizer you will leave with your belly full and won't regret a dollar spent. Definitely would happily go back anytime, also the atmosphere would make it a great place to go on a date.Parking: Just like everywhere in Baltimore City parking can be hit or miss. We parked in a parking garage that was about a 5 minute walk but there is street parking available with a meter if no one is parked there.

The food was tasty. I liked their nachos with chicken and pork belly tacos. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. One problem is that the place gets very noisy in the evenings.

La Calle is a sparkling new spot in Baltimore and WOW did it exceed our expectations! First off, the staff is incredible! They gave great recommendations, we're so friendly, and the service was lightning speed! The drinks were 10/10, the ambiance is chill and relaxed- perfect for catching up with friends or a date night, and the food was out of this world- with great portions and quality all in one! We can't wait to go back!
