Best pizza around. Definitely has its own unique style. Their dough is amazing and somehow their crust is thick but soft at the same time. Reheats amazing the next day too

Another visit to the "mecca of pizza" in the city. My family and I went there last Saturday afternoon, on the spur of the moment. I got my usual, the two cheese 10" pizza and the girls shared a 10" white pizza (edited to include tomato sauce). Having been to Matthew's more than 20 times in the past 6+ years, the two cheese pie was not as flavorful as usual - maybe due to weather, timing, my taste... but it was good! The white pizza - with the caramelized onions - was SO DANG GOOD!! I'd go back now if I wasn't at work. Definitely will try that next time. And yes - Matthew's is as good as people say!

If you haven't heard yet, Matthew's is a classic Baltimore pizza shop and the pizza is delicious every single time, whether you're eating in, getting delivery, or picking up. Last night we picked up Buffalo Chicken and the Popeye and Olive Oil pizzas, both 10" and they were sooo good.

When we went it was not as busy as I thought it would be. We were able to sit right away but it took a while for someone to take our order. Someone had recommended the Spinach salad to us which was delicious! We had also ordered a pepperoni pizza with sausage and the 3 cheese white pizza. Both pizza lacked flavor and wasn't the best. The pepperoni was a little overcooked and the cheese pizza was dry.They are known for their crab pizza, so we probably should have tried that.

It was on my must try Baltimore pizza list so I visited shortly after moving to the city. Since then I have been back a few times for a few variations but have yet to dine inside. The dining area is small but looks cozy enough to sit for a meal. The pizza is good and even better, for me, a little closer to well done. Ingredients are plentiful and fresh, the customer service has been consistent, and I always seem to find a space close by to run in and grab my pie. Solid pie.

I ordered pizza and wings but the pizza never came so I couldn’t tell you how it tastes. This restaurant practices dynamic pricing but does not signify this in any way. There are no signs on the door or notes on the menu, so I was surprised when the “wings”(tenders dropped in a bowl with a negligent amount of sauce) I ordered were 5 dollars more than what they were listed. When I asked, I was told that despite not having any signs it’s something they’ve been doing for a while.I was at a table of 5, and only one of the two items I ordered came out around 10 minutes after everybody else had their food. All in all, I would not eat here again and I regret the $$ spent.

They have delicious pizza, and I love their anti pasta salad. Although something was missing from the salad it is good.
We waited almost an hour anxiously for these supposedly delicious pizza that were awfully wrapped in PAPER PLATES AND PAPER??? for a place to be this popular i would expect them to be in boxes. But anyways the pizza? Awful as well all pizzas were burnt and had no taste! it just felt like something to fill up the stomach. They were super expensive for tiny pizzas. Will not be back would really like my money.

I found this little gem on Instagram and decided to try it out while I was in the area. When I say I want pizza, this is what I'm expecting. I got the crab pie, and my son had the 2 cheese pie with sausage and pepperoni. Delicious! Service was great, too. Jen was friendly and right on top of everything. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in the area.
