Previously visited this space over 10 years ago on the weekends. Recently visited on a Monday night and I must say it wasn't a bad experience. Atmosphere was welcoming. The only down fall is that some patrons became a little rowdy towards the end.

This is where the old heads go to hangout and have a good time. It was cool, vibes was chill, the music was good. The soul food was bomb and the drinks were nice and strong ! I had fried fish and collard greens and mac and cheese. I wana try to go to one of the young people nights one day, when I’m back in town !

They front door staff will bully you because of your clothing attire.On some ghetto jealous type of stuff.If you have low self esteem or unattractive and overweight their cool. Tbh the kitchen staff reds the bartender and will the bartender are the coolest staff members they have.The rest are a bunch of haters.Find another lounge Melba’s is done for. Too old fashion and judgmental.

A friend of mine and I stopped in around 7pm to have drink. I stepped out to have a smoke with my drink still on the bar. Upon trying to re-enter after my smoke I was asked to pay a cover charge even though I was already here before they started charging a cover charge. Also, it wasn't even 10 people in here so I truly don't understand why you would even be charging a cover charge(aside from greed) when there isn't even a DJ playing. I won't be patronizing this establishment again because that was downright PETTY. Why would I want to spend my money here??? That is not how you build business at all or gain patrons. However, our bartender Will was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. His hospitality was greatly appreciated and was reflected in his tip.

I celebrated ? my 60th Birthday at Melba's it was fabulous all my people attending had a great time. I will be letting everyone know that Melba's is the place to be.

They gave a New Year's Eve event that started at 8pm. 25.00 free buffet. They did not serve the food until New Year's Day at 12:00 a.m. how was people supposed to feed their liquor in-between time. And the DJ always say feed your liquor. You didn't hear him say it that night. This is my last time going to an event that they do a cover charge. Very disappointed.
We go there particularly for the food. It's a nice atmosphere on Monday nights. But I love their food

Spend New Years here - $25 cover charge! Which wasn't a problem but the food window is very unpleasant and rude which makes ordering food a hassle.... Then to add the cherry on top the dips are 50 cents and we ordered wings then we had to pay 50 cent for the carry out bag needless to say I wish we wouldn't beat our own people but we do so that required this review

I always have a good time at Melba's it is a large grown folks nightclub located in E Baltimore ..parking is on the corner to the right in the parking lot. DJs are awesome, the vibe is great, this is definitely an adult 40 and over location. I was celebrating my 56th birthday and had a wonderful time, my 24-year-old son two of his friends came straight from a camping trip and W VA they like the atmosphere and music as well and had a nice time. The staff is nice, the bartenders smile, are nice and welcoming. My son and his friends ordered chicken and french fries they said it was absolutely delicious.Parking: The parking lot is on the corner across the street from the Melba door I don't remember the street nameKid-friendliness: Not kid friendly an adult atmosphere with a full bar

This is the third time I been here an it was cool but it will be my last time there because I was insulted and racist profiled by the owner, which was a female of the club to tell me I’ve been outside too many times, and if I go outside again, I can’t come in after I paid my money I was in a party section and I only went outside twice but would not say it to nobody else but because I’m white, I will never go to that club again

The Hoodfellas employees rude as eff. 1 green haired monster sang karaoke while on the clock. I received Soggy oily French fries wen my order arrived. I asked for another order of fries, then the goon said .50 cents wen I ask for a bag 2 take my order. Good customer service/help is very hard to find.
