I visited here while I was in Maryland and I must say, the customer service I received from management was top notch. I advised the waitress that I had a food allergy. Not one but 2 managers visited the table to ask questions and make sure they could accommodate my meal. I was overwhelmed at the attentiveness that was shown. I have never received that level of care in service ever. The impression was life changing and I’ll definitely be visiting again next time I’m in town!!

I so very rarely feel driven to give a place five stars but Miss Shirley's deserves it and more.Even with a lengthy wait time, everything else went above and beyond. Our server, Emily, was courteous and professional. She was amazing and timely with checking in on us and bringing refills, and if she isn't a senior member of staff, it's a crime.Our food came out faster here than I have ever experienced. The Cinnamon Swirl waffles were phenomenal, melting into a medly of cinnamon and butter in my mouth. The legendary biscuits lived up to the hype.You owe it to yourself to experience this place. Parking can be a nightmare, but the food is a dream, and you won't regret it.

The wait staff is great! The food quality has declined! Its not as fresh & tasty as it once was. IHOP can compete at this pointParking: There are limited parking spaces in the rear of the building. Coldspring ln is a very busy street. The area is mostly residential.

Oh, how I used to love this place.It’s been a bit since I’ve been, but my family and I just stopped for breakfast. I got the standard two egg breakfast (as did my youngest) with a side of hashbrowns. The hashbrowns (& onions in them) were barely cooked. My scrambled eggs were also burned like they were left on the skillet for awhile, and the bacon was barely cooked. Compared to our past experiences, the food was shockingly bad.The service was good, but the food - it was so so bad. Eating out is such a premium expense these days and to be served that is both burned & undercooked - inexcusable.

After telling our server about a gluten allergy, who made sure to ask all the right questions, a manager came to ensure that our dining experience would meet our dietary needs. The food was fresh, well prepared, and delicious. The Bloody Mary was the best I'd had in a long time.Dietary restrictions: Safe for those who are gluten free.
