I do a lot of traveling, I eat a lot of food in different places from different cultures. This place was definitely in my top 5 in Curry related restaurants. Will definitely be visiting next time I come to the Baltimore area. If you are thinking of this place, don't sleep on the option.

We had a really great first meal at Mount Everest. Decided to check it out for a change of pace. It's a relatively unassuming place right on the Avenue in Hampden but the food is really great. We had the samosa appetizer and then the chicken chow chow noodles (fabulous), chicken tikka masala (absolutely delicious), chicken jurelly (very good), vegetarian jalfrezi (very good) and garlic Naan (delicious). The only miss was the momo which are dumplings but the chicken mix inside was dry and not very flavorful. Other than that we had a great meal and it was not too expensive. Entrees were around $15. Will definitely be back!

Super friendly people, convenient location, and really good food that they will make however you like it. This is a hidden gem. I've tried most of the Indian/Nepali places around, and this is definitely one of the best.

Its simple, the food here is excellent. Our group started with three chats and the pakora. All were very good. The chaat portions were large. We had a couple lamb dishes. All great. No fat or grizzle in the lamb. Fish tikka also excellent. Huge portions of rice included. Naan basket is enough to serve six. Highly recommended.

The range of spice levels was great for everyone, plus the Bhindi Masala in particular was delicious.Vegetarian options: Great range of options for vegetarians and vegans, all yummy.
