All around homey and great vibes abound at OLAR. Delicious homemade food, exceptional cocktails crafted and elevated. Comfy atmosphere /// highly recommend.also much space on the third and fourth floors for the perfect party.

So, my wife and I have been telling ourselves for some time to visit this restaurant on the corner of S. Conkling St for a few months now. I fell in love with the name so I told myself we have to check it out. We finally went for brunch and I have to tell you this is one of the best kept secrets in Baltimore. An absolute gem as the atmosphere is very inviting and the staff was extremely friendly. I met Ellie the owner and I couldn't have been happier to meet such wonderful entrepreneur to support especially during Woman's History Month!I got the Alabama Slamma Chicken Sandwich and the Biscuits & Jam as an appetizer. Everything was fantastic! I'll be honest i wasn't the biggest fan of the jam but the biscuits were clearly made from scratch and the food was so good! The venue is 3 levels and capable of handling private parties and events, which I will absolutely look into in the near future. As well as it's handicap accessible, as I brought my mother who is disabled and they were able to accommodate her with no issues.Parking was not too bad but it is street parking for the most part so be early!Oh... and yeah they have AUCD brunch mimosa specials!Parking: Street parking in front and it's free but come early.Kid-friendliness: Besides the banter of some other tables the environment is kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair accessible entrance for handicap. Very convenient. But you are limited to dining on the entrance level

Hosted a baby shower brunch for about 40 people at OLAR today. From the first email I knew I was in great hands, Ellie was so professional and responsive that I was sure I had made the right choice even though I was planning it all long distance. She made it so easy! Today went off without a hitch, the food was excellent, the rest of the staff assigned to us was super friendly and helpful, we simply couldn’t have been happier. Thanks OLAR!

Small and cozy neighborhood bar. The food here is always good. The cocktails are made well, and the staff are friendly.

A lovely restaurant, a favorite of mine and my wife's. Delicious food, fantastic beer selection, cozy and intimate atmosphere, and a great Valentine's Day spot. Great mix of elevated pub-fare and fine dining, at an accessible price point.

This gem has what you'd call a Polished Vintage Vibe. A comfy local feel but snazzy at the same time. The food is divine. Familiar items - but layers of satisfying flavor within. The kitchen is putting care and detail in their work. Happy hour appeared to have been very busy for them, so I was glad we ate a bit later. We sat at the comfortable bar and were greeted warmly by multiple staff members. Started with some French onion soup - very rich and a little bit sweet. My friend ordered a smoked barrel-aged Old Fashioned... with the indulgent addition of a cloud of smoke under its glass lid. Very smooth & sweet with a terrific combo of aromas. We moved on to the Caprese Burger with crispy wedge fries. Again, deep flavor! Then the Alabama Slamma chicken sandwich, which was perfect with a hint of citrus in its sauce. I think any and all sauces/condiments throughout the menu really help items stand out. One of the servers has been brewing his own hot sauces for this place and he brought them out for us to play with. All 3 were unique and multi-layered. It was a great hang, and we'll be back!

The food and drinks were good. Love the location and the atmosphere. The problem is with the system they use to pay. You scan a QR code (which isn’t the problem) and I chose to tip in cash so I put down $0 for the tip on my phone and left $20 in cash for the server. The total was about $92. Just check my credit card statement and was charged $112. So I was charged $20 extra dollars. I thought maybe I messed up but I see this has happened to another customer in the reviews. If you go here pay in cash or you may get charged extra.

Everytime I come here the food gets better and better. Service is good, atmosphere is lovely, and they even have a polite pup that comes around for pets.

We were delighted by Ellie and her staff. We had a small private party in their 2nd floor space. The food was great, the service impeccable and the atmosphere perfect. Thank you for providing a great experience.

Pretty good! Good food and drinks and friendly service. But. . . They add a gratuity automatic and then still prompt people for an additional tip of 18-25% that you need to opt out of. That's the cause for the 2 star drop, would have been 4 without

There's nothing that they sell here that isn't absolutely delicious. Even something as simple as fries are elevated. Soft, pillowy innards of potato wedges but with crispy edges. Perfection!

First time - tried Happy Hour. Cocktails are legit handcrafted. Interesting recipes. The HH cocktail menu featured gin, lavender, hibiscus, and falernum heavily. But if botanicals aren't your jam, there were other choices, too. Staff was friendly and attentive. Finger foods were excellent. Our price reflects 3-4 happy hour cocktails per person with snack-type foods. Good selection of beers, wines, and ciders. Pictured cocktail is BMORE, with butterfly tea, vodka, agave, lemon, mint, egg. Go Ravens!
