What a find! When in Baltimore’s Little Italy be sure to stop in at the Ovenbird Bakery! They are super friendly & helpful and their bread is delicious! I’d recommend the olive sourdough bread. I’ve been toasting mine and eating it with a variety of toppings. Yum!They have sandwiches and other bread choices... Be aware that the deli closes at 3:00 and that discounts on some purchases occur after 2:00. There is also “day old” bread that you can purchase. If it isn’t sold, they donate it. Isn’t that wonderful?! I myself, love to make homemade croutons or bruschetta.Street parking availability depends on the day & time.I’d suggest making a day of your visit to Little Italy.Parking: Free street parking during the day not far from the bakery.

Went to the Gough Street location today and it was definitely average. Not worth the drive and price point. Do yourself a favor, skip OvenBird and just go to Artifact Coffee instead.

Quite possibly the best quiche I've ever eaten! Tall, stuffed full of ingredients (the mushrooms were so good), and had a great texture. The crust was the perfect amount and tasted great as well. I'll be coming back for more and to try more of their menu items.

Super cute and cozy bakery and café with a European feel, perfect for Baltimore's Little Italy. With a selection of delicious sweet and savory goods, accompanied by a diverse beverage menu, there's something for everyone here. Only two tables (a 4-top and a 2-top), but people seem to mostly get to-go anyway so if you wanted a spot to chill, there's a good chance one (or both) might be open. The staff is super sweet and helpful, and very quick with your order. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to LI/Fells standards, making it a prime place to grab a quick lunch or snack. They also have loaves and such to take home as well that are rustica and bella ❤️ I'll definitely be back soon!!!

Wednesday the 14th 12 noon and they don't have baguette bread, plus new faces every day and that's not good for the everyday customer. I have visited two locations looking for a baguette bread and there is no

Ok…so…to keep it real, we went later in the day when they were about to close. We ordered a few sweet treats, but did not get the full experience of this place. I see that we must return to try all this place has to offer.

How could you not love the oven bird nestled on a residential block in Baltimore's little Italy? Ovenbird specializes in mouthwatering, pastries and excellent breads. In fact, the ham and grower cheese croissant I had here was a recent favorite. But I for the desserts they only have two tables, but get them to go if you can I hoard them like little treasures. Long live the oven bird.

The cutest little corner bakery. Best breakfast sandwich I ever had on a spicy Fennel Bagel ? got a loaf of Baltimore Sourdough to go and it has their logo in flour on it. There is not much seating if you are planning to stay, only 2

This is easily the best bakery in Baltimore, and quite possibly the best bakery in MD. You must try their bread and pastries. The sandwiches are very good as well. They also like to get very creative with the drinks!Parking: It depends on the day, but you can often find stree parking close by.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp
