Loved the unique bagels and tea options. Very large inside and quiet enough to get work done.

Stopped in the first time for a quick lunch. The cheesy grilled cheese and the Italian cold cut was amazing ! Very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff. The second time we came for breakfast, we had bacon egg and cheese on English muffins. The sandwiches were very tasty, and the English muffins were delicious! Great service and food , you can’t beat that.We can’t wait to come back , maybe for some bar food and a glass of wine.

Classic ovenbird experience, delicious food and beautiful ambiance but to those that care, they currently DO NOT have wifi. Wouldn't have ordered food and coffee if I had known that since I am trying to get into a work grind. I didn't think that's something you need to verify at a coffee shop but guess so! A sign would be nice! I'll be back again when they have that set up. Also, to those also trying to plop down on their computers, there are only a few areas that have outlets. BUT, if I was here to have a relaxing breakfast with company, 10/10 recommend.

I’ve been very loyal to Ovenbird since they opened in Little Italy. I don’t understand what’s going on here. The bread at this location is much less consistant. All the food is pre-prepared and served in to-go containers. They were out of the only vegitarian sandwich so i asked if they could leave the meat off another and they told me everything was pre-prepared so I’d have to pick it off. On top of that the staff is so unfriendly. This is Baltimore — not DC.So much money was spent on the decore but at the end of the day it’s a pretty dissapointing lunch. The maxamilist space feels like it was prioritized over care and quality.I hope this is just early growing pains and i have better feedback in a few months.

I went at 8:30 am and bought their sourdough and asked for them to cut it for me. They said it was too soon to cut and they don't do that until 12. I don't know if I got old bread or not, but as soon as I got home I tried to cut it up and it was hard as a rock. I'm disappointed because it was my first time at this location. Never had an issue with other location in Little Italy.

I like the Little Italy location way more than the new one in Highlandtown. It puts me into sensory overload. So busy, which is great for them, God Speed and all that, but I feel like I'm on the production set of a Netflix original rom-com?Not all of the pastry selections are items I'd choose, but that raspberry Danish thing was tasty.

Pretty large space with enough tables for catching up, working, and just eating. No wifi available yet and not too many outlets, I only found that 2 worked when I was there. Really nice atmosphere with lots of colorful furniture and decor.

This location is so spacious and airy! Perfect for a single person getting bread or food or a group! I went to the happy hour that they just launched and it was lovely. They had a small selection of beer and wine and some delicious small plates to share. I wasn't familiar with some of the dishes and the server was very thorough with the descriptions and helpful with explaining the portion sizes. It sounded like the portion size went up as you went down the menu. I got the soft pretzel which tasted a bit like whole grain and the mustard and beer cheese were delicious accompaniments. The potato borek was absolutely delicious. It slightly reminded me of a potato stuffing in Phyllo dough. The Ovenbird dementor was butter, garlic and Phyllo dough and it broke apart like monkey bread. Absolutely delicious! They had one dessert in the affogato. The vanilla gelato was absolutely delicious!!!

This is Ovenbird's newest and biggest location and oh my goodness it is so adorable! It feels like I am sitting in a boho grandma's cafe. The staff here are very friendly and are more than willing to answer your questions and make recommendations if you ask them! The prices for their food are reasonable, very on par with other cafes/bakeries but with slightly better food. On the day I visited, my friend and I ordered the butternut squash toast and the French onion soup. Both were very delicious and the soup was piping hot! I really enjoyed the butternut squash toast and would only justify buying it due to how much work goes into prepping the squash for myself. With this, we also got a challah roll which is only offered on Fridays. THE CHALLAH ROLL WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THIS VISIT! Coming in at just $1.50 the challah roll was light and fluffy topped so gently with flaky salt. I will definitely be going back to Ovenbird on a Friday with the intention of getting a challah roll (or a dozen). During this visit I also ordered a blood orange matcha, which was surprisingly delicious and refreshing. I would order it again, but am also willing to try something new. Their iced caramel latte was also very good and relatively inexpensive (I think it was less than $5 which is inexpensive when it comes to coffee nowadays). I will admit as a self-proclaimed Kougin-Amman connoisseur, Ovenbird's falls short compared to sacre sucre, especially with both being at approximately the same price point. Ovenbird's is smaller and not as flaky/crispy from the brûlée. Nonetheless, still a great assortment of pastries. The chocolate chirp cookie has been wonderful, in the future I am looking to try the mosaic cake. WARNING: As of mid-January 2024, there was NO WI-FI that was set up. If you're planning on coming here to do work, be prepared to use your hotspot or sit here for the day to disconnect from the digital world! We all need to at some points (:

The pastry is very nice and I recommend the almond croissant. I ordered an artisan looking Challah and I was disappointed. Challah bread is an egg loaf. If this has egg in the formula it was not noticed.

I will preface this, with I have high expectations for my foodie experiences. Smashed meatball sandwich I Cynivised this since I knew going on that as made it is on the dryer side. I added an extra meatball (singular) and sauce for a $1 up-charge. The meatballs were good, I liked the diced pieces of basil in the meatballs and the garlic presence was on point. I am glad I added the extra one as it allowed a bite of meatball in every bite which checks the bread to meat ratio. The ciabatta was a nice crunchy outside with a soft inside. The sauce was way too thin, it was tomato broth consistency and took away from the sandwich. Blood orange rosemary Matcha This overly sweet drink tasted only like matcha. They did not blend the flavors well at all as none of the others were present or tasted. I am assuming it's syrups used to add the flavors which could be why it was so sweet? For the price the cup size is too small. If they could hit all the floats in the title that may make this a better drink. Orange tea cake The batter was over mixed/processed and it showed in the dense dry cake. It was also overly sweet, no orange essence or flavor hitting the palette at all. Hazelnut Raspberry Linzer Bar Very forward raspberry flavor, which is nice. Nutella taste was not present and the bar was ok the drier side. Not my cup of tea. Location has street parking, just read the signs to make sure you aren't parking in time not allowed. Cute decor inside, with nice comfy seats giving it a hangout coffee shop vibe. The food was okay at best and not my cup of tea. I would have preferred to have fresh pastries made that morning and if they sell out they sell out; over the refrigerator stores baked goods that they sold.

This is a great new location for Ovenbird! The space is large and welcoming, and has tons of places to sit. It's also decorated very beautifully inside. We got a breakfast sandwich, ham and cheese croissant, and pistachio cookie. The pistachio toffee cookie was incredibley delicious, I wanted a million of them!! The sandwich and croissant were also good, but nothing spectacular. Overall, this is a good spot to grab a coffee and snack and do some work or chat with a friend!

I cannot begin to describe the symphony of flavor going on in my mouth right now…. With the first bite, I got the savory from the mushroom, the sweetness from the caramelized onion, the flakiness from the subtle buttery crust. They have made perfect harmony in the form of a quiche! We will definitely be returning often. Thank you chef
