We stopped here based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. We had a panini, the meatball heel, and a slice of Smith Island cake. The food is authentic, delicious, and prepared to order. They have frozen meatballs, stuffed shells, pizza, etc from the kitchen to take home if you want. The dining area is nothing special but the food is absolutely worth a special trip.
It's an absolute Baltimore staple. Those who know, know. Order your Limoncello Mars Capone cake ahead of time, and you'll have it! Not an easy cake to find, but delicious when you find it. It's typically sold by the slice. I needed the entire

Always a great experience. Haven't been in 7 years due to moving away. Was craving the shrimp salad and antipasto salad. It's still good after all of these years. Employees are always pleasant and the store is clean.
