When PokeOno first opened up it was a pretty solid place. Big, delicious bowls for a reasonable price. We went a few times early on but haven’t been back in a while. I recently went back to give it another shot. They have managed to fix everything that was great about the place. Serving sizes are tiny, flavor is average, and prices are sky high. I ended up spending, somehow, about $25 on a bowl. I could have went to an area sushi restaurant and gotten a premium and basic roll for that price. Or some ultra premium roll. The pricing is very deceptive and not like any poke place I have ever been to. The base bowl (one size) without protein has a price, the protein has a separate price (three sizes - all small), and many toppings that would be free elsewhere have an up charge. The value proposition isn’t there. Just go to Kumari next door.

I have no clue how this place has more than 4 stars. Ended up paying close to $30 for one bowl. The employee that was working there couldn't understand the first question I asked about substitutions. He was very difficult to understand as he was speaking very quietly. I ended up opting to create my own bowl to avoid more confusion. When I eventually started eating there was a thick smell of not so fresh fish and the taste wasn't so fresh either. I ended up tossing the bowl out as it was practically inedible. A discredit to Hawaiian culture truly.

I used to really love this place. While the food is still good, and probably one of the best Poke bowl places around, the prices per meal is just too much now. I do not need to be spending almost $20 per meal. There are cheaper options out there. I realize some of the items were speciality (masago, and seaweed salad), but even without those, a basic regular shoyu classic starts at $16. Just no... this used to cost me $14 finished price with all the trimmings just a few months ago.Sorry, I like you, but I'll just go for cheaper options or make my own at home.

My boyfriend and I used to love this place. Specifically, there was 1 female employee that was always there and made the best bowls. When Al bought the place, we originally thought he was doing better by the place, adding more items onto the menu, providing good servings of fresh fish, etc. But now we haven’t seen the female employee we loved in a couple weeks, and the quality of the bowls are garbage when they’re made by anyone else. The new guy working today was by far the worst. The portion sizes of the protein have decreased and they now nickle and dime you, as they’ve made way more toppings “premium toppings”. The crab, avocado, seaweed salad, I understand. Those are usually premium toppings at any poke place. But corn? Cucumber? Pineapple? Really? They carelessing threw the sauce in at the bottom of the bowl so it wasn’t actually on top of anything, leaving the bowl with zero flavor. And to top it off, I pull a short blonde hair out of my poke bowl. My boyfriend and I are both dark brunettes so that definitely didn’t come from anywhere in our house. Sad that a place we used to frequent is now a place we won’t be going back to

Was good when new ownership took over but has gotten bad over the past few weeks. Prices have increased and quality has decreased. Have been eating here 1-2x per week for the last few months and will not be returning.

Finally a healthy and gluten free lunch option in the area! I made my own Poke Bowl with Ahi Tuna, veggies and spicy aioli. So yum! Definitely recommend, if you are looking for nutrient-rich balanced diet in Locus Point and South Baltimore area.

The food was fresh, tasty, and had great portions. But even better, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and a pleasure to interact with. We’ll definitely be back!

Usually a fan but the rice was crunchy and not cooked, had to throw it away. Likely will not go back again.

Love poke bowls. My issue is that 90% of the lettuce that was the base of my bowl was rotten (like, black). After seeing that someone else had food poisoning 2 weeks ago, I feel the need to mention this. You had to have been blind to not have seen the rotten lettuce , which makes me wonder what else is happening in the kitchen. Food safety, folks.

I have never had to do this, but I had the most horrific food poisoning after having(not knowing at first) expired coconut water(almost 2 months 8/22/22) and a poke bowl. I missed two days of work which cost me a ton of money this week. Almost went to the ER as well. I'm sorry to leave such a bad review, but this ruined a lot for me and I pray no one else got as violently ill.

Originally tried to get the tacos but they weren't cooking today. So we got two fish bowls and got food poisoning!

This place has very good poke, but I wish they’d bring back their online ordering.
