Those of you who have read my opinions know that I do not give negative reviews, but I am making an exception because this experience was so offensive.I have never, ever, seen a staff endure a large group very loudly boasting racist, bigoted, and all-around offensive comments in a restaurant before. This group was 5 or 6 people and they were so loud it was as if they wanted the whole restaurant to hear them. It was a stream of pure hatred. As the place filled up, they were getting the side-eye from other guests, but still, it persisted.I called my coworker, told her not to come as planned, asked for my order to go, paid, and left.Honestly, I have nothing against people having their own opinions, no matter how offensive, but keep it down, at least. I hate cucumbers, but I just eat around them when they come on a salad. What I really cannot believe is that the staff allowed that to happen with other guests in the restaurant. Makes me think this place might be a home for "haters". Reuben sucked, by the way.Proceed at your own risk.

First visit in a few years. It looks very nice. We thought it might be a new place for us. But…Happy hour was disappointing with the “non” happy hour beer prices. $2.75 for a bottle of domestic beer? Nope, not….

A friend and myself got there around 330 for lunch snd a drink. We were serviced immediately. I got the crab pretzel and it was good but I felt like it had no crab meat in it. My friend got the calamari and it was amazing, fried and seasoned to protection. The drinks and food were fair in price. The bartender was friendly. Bathrooms very clean. Also they seem to have many live bands. Will be returning.

The service was poor I had to go to the kitchen door and then it took them about 45 minutes to get our food and I had to have them bring my steak back because it was overdone and I asked for medium rare I was very

Wonderful stuffed shrimp. Sit in the bar side and ask for Kelly. We had a thieving patron who caused us to be stuck awhile when he resisted arrest outside.

Lousy food and high pricesI grew up in Dundalk and the Poplar Inn was always the place to go. Went there two days ago , Sunday October 1st, and ordered the seafood salad. Now this place was famous for their shrimp salad so I expected the same positive experience. Awful !!! It was like mush and I thought about sending it back but had no idea what they would bring out the next time. The food quality was no where near the prices which were ridiculous. I have to think that what happened here was that those acquiring the establishment decided to make a quick killing by lowering quality and raising prices. Sorry to see that. Big mistake in the long run. My advice? Don't go there for food, it's just a bar now.
