This bartender, Phoebe, literally made our weekend. We showed up after the o’s game and most of the bars had were packed with mediocre service but she jumped right on us as soon as we showed up and kept the party going the whole time. Everything was way above average. Clearly, they really employ good bartenders 10/10

I can't review the food, but drinks are way overpriced and DO NOT COME HERE FOR SHOWS. We went to an EDM show on a Saturday night and it was an awful experience. They are incredibly disorganized. See my list below:1. The show started over an hour late2. Tickets were $20 and many people didn't pay but we just so happened to be asked by a man who didn't actually work at Riptide? (find out more about this later) SO We had to pay this random woman3. Bartenders are rude and spent more time hanging out with patrons than actually behind the bar4. There was security guard there who looked like he was going to Iraq -- he had a balaclava, a handgun, and a large knife. In fells point.5. They had a paid cameraman who was snapping brightly lit video and pictures of the 8 people who actually showed up ALL NIGHT6. We turn around at one point to see the iraqi freedom security guard putting the guy who asked us to pay for the show in a HEADLOCK and DRAGGING him downstairs7. the owner/manager then came upstairs, interrupted the performance and said to make sure there was no substance use(so I guess the guy they had making people pay was selling/using?)8. within 30 seconds of the manager saying that, Iraqi Freedom came upstairs SCREAMING that everyone needed to leave because his wife was roofied at riptide the week before and so he was pissed there was substance use happening..... and so we didn't even get to see the headliner who came all the way up from Tennessee.I will say the bathroom was surprisingly clean, which was the best part of my evening.

Nick, James, & Meghan were incredible! Walking past, we couldn’t make it far away before we gravitated inside after noticing the atmosphere. Food was top tier, trying almost every appetizer and devouring oysters until we literally had no more room. The staff made us feel at home immediately. HIGHLY recommended. Thank you, Riptide!

Took my dad here visiting from WV and we enjoyed it so much! Food was excellent! We got crab cakes, steamed shrimp and crab dip and everything exceeded expectations! Service started out amazing but they got busy with the Friday night crowd so it slacked off. Overall a very positive experience! We will definitely be back!
