Ive been to a few Ruth Chris but never in Baltimore. I thought I would have had the Same experience as the rest. I will say the waiter was extremely nice and did a good job! However the best food I ate was the bread and shrimp. This Ruth Chris was a complete disappointment. The steak was completely bland and not properly cooked to my preference. I definitely think they need a new cook. The food outside of the bread and shrimp was completely not the Ruth Chris status I have know it to be. I would not be returning and I would not recommend this location either!!!

Worst delivery !!! Always screwed up !! 15 dollar salad of just lettuce and a 15 dollar plain Baked Potato unreal we were supposed to get a loaded!! Do not order from here!!!!! Not worth it!! Makes you think whats going on in the restaurant, we even called before about this problem, and I guess not worth fixing. We have ordered from here before used to be great(like the restaurant was) but this is the third time we’ve tried and always a mess! I’m not going to load the messed up dessert and dry main course, it’s just not worth it. It's sad to say goodbye to this Baltimore classic. Just too run down! No one has to eat here, there’s way better places now!!!

So after dating for 4 months I decided to plan a date so I could pop the question. I asked the waiter if they could write “Will you be my GF (Girlfriend)?”. The waitress did express to me that there were people in the kitchen that didn’t understand English well, but I was not expecting this. When the plate made it to the table my now girlfriend was shocked and so was I. I had to tell her that this was not what it was suppose to say, but can you really imagine how women wait their entire lives for proposals and for this to be a mistake is wild. I had been telling my friends about my plans for weeks I couldn’t wait for this moment.

Most of everything was excellent. But twice cooked the steak the wrong temperature for my steak and my son's steak. Would think they would do better as a known steak restaurant. The flavor profile of everything however was excellent and they did take the price of my steak off the bill.

Marlon is outstanding! This location has different menu items, like crab fried rice and fried zucchini. Location is perfect.

Our server, Courtney, was amazing! She was very attentive, personable, and made sure to customize our experience! She was also very knowledgeable about the menu, which was a plus! The only downfall was the table being so close to the front door. You heard it slam the entire night and the room we were seated in was pretty chilly.

I have severe noise sensitivity & the restaurant was 57-65 decibels when we arrived at 4pm. I talked with the manager, who turned the music down for me due to my disability. So grateful for that, as I typically can't eat in restaurants, but it was our anniversary & my first time back in over 10years. The food was delicious & the staff really went out of their way to try and accommodate me. Thank-you.

I used to go to ruths chris on water street all the time but this was our first time at this location and it was hands down the best time! Food was still as good as I remember it. The reviews dont lie, our service by Michelle was truly top notch. Almost forgot how much we loved it here. Cant wait to return. Thanks for a great time!

Definitely overrated. I have no problem paying a lot for good food but this place is no better than a chain. Service was mediocre at best. Steak was good. Best crab cake and wine. Seriously wish I had chosen somewhere else.

My partner and I have been to Ruth Chris every year for special occasions and this particular location. We always enjoy everything, however, last night was valentines and of course we were looking forward to it. When we arrive the lobby is filled with about 30 people.. we were confused. We arrive for our reservation at 9:30 to find out that they “Over booked” so there was a 20 minute wait. This was already disappointing, although we did wait to try and be patient we ended up getting sat at 10:30. Once we were sat the server took forever to bring drinks. Didn’t receive our entrees until 11:20, when food came out we expressed to server the sweet potato casserole was extremely dry she even said “it looks like sand”, then the Brussels sprouts were flavorless, and our steaks were the worst we’ve ever had, over cooked and dry. Server takes our sides back to chef and then comes out to tell us they waved her off and said “oh well”. She told us she would take the sides off of our check… so we gave her card and check. She came back and dropped it back off and did not take a single thing off. This was the worst experience we’ve ever had at Ruth Chris and it has left a bad taste in our mouth moving forward. Because the staff was being over worked and ready to go they provided poor service and terrible food. This is an expensive restaurant and we felt very dismissed by the entirety.

The food here was excellent. There was a lot of flavor in the rice and the shrimp. I had a filet which was good. The cheesecake is flavorful too. Overall a good experience. They will check your coat and valet was $10.

Made reservations for Bar seating. Seating was immediately available. The service was fast and friendly. The noise level was relatively pleasant compared to the dining area. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Our mixed drinks were more than acceptable and very good. Thank you for and excellent evening!

Literally the worst meal of my life. The manager did not even come to the table, she was scared. Valentine's Day absolute waste of money. Pathetic excuse of a chain. Cooks and workers don't care because they aren't paid enough and managed well enough to hire correctly. Mashed potatoes came out cold and rock hard. 40 minute wait for a drink. Lobster bisque inedible. Oils separated from base in sauces. Literally awful

My husband & I dinned here for Valentine's Day this year, our bill before tip was just under $400. The food & drinks were amazing, but the atmosphere was lacking in many aspects. There was a family with a screaming child the entire visit. I understand that children will be children but when you come to dinner & spend what we spent, it's not what we wanted to deal with. Outside of that, they were clearing plates directly in front of our table from the back groups leaving. Most of our dinner was spent watching them scrap dirty places & stack on the trays. The food was amazing, but I would have went a dive bar if I had known the atmosphere would be the same.
