My husband and I stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Baltimore recently. The hotel was well situated in a convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room along with the hotel were very clean. Parking was an additional $25 and parking deck was located next door. I guess all the hotels in the area charge for parking, unfortunately. My only complaint- the bed was rock hard. Felt like I was sleeping on a slab of concrete. I would have preferred a bed a bit more comfy.

Solid 3 star hotel located in the somewhat recently developed Harbor East area. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Harbor East area appears new and was a bit sterile and might be lacking a little character but there were several restaurants nearby and it felt like a safe area to walk around in at night. However, Little Italy is right next door and the Inner Harbor is a 15 minute walk.

This hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff were all very efficient and professional. However, don’t be mislead…there are user photos uploaded for this hotel that show a pool; however, this hotel does not have a pool. We were very happy with our stay.

3* for a reason Comfortable & Clean but no frillS or customer service to speak of. Reception staff quite rude on occasion - 1 ‘ Complimentary’ bottle of water for A five night stay / no daily room cleaning /coffee top up - set your expectations- it’s pretty ordinary

A place to avoid for breakfast: bad food, expensive and bad service

I stayed here for a few nights while on a work related trip to Baltimore. The room (and bed) was comfortable and provided a nice, quiet working/reading environment for me in the evenings, and I also enjoyed spending mornings with a coffee from the bistro and working in the lobby which was comfortable and pleasant. It's in a nice location - in the evening we were able to walk along the waterfront and to dinner. There are several nice restaurants in the area, the aquarium, some historic ships, and it's also near the Little Italy district. For those interested, there is a workout room but no pool/hot tub.

Worst hotel I've stayed at in Baltimore. Red roof inn was better. Spent a total of 45 minutes in the room and got a call threatening to kick me out for being too loud. It's only me and my partners here and we're both doctors but yet making too much noise on a phone call?! Not to mention the front desk shamed me for a handicap room. Once we were in the room we learned that there is no hot water and a leaky faucet. This place is the definition of trash. Do not stay here. 100% do not recommend. Ps carpet from 1970s? Stop living in the past and gay shaming.

Personnel at the front desk (Andrea Carter and later a colleague) were very pleasant and helpful. Ms. Carter's coworker provided the names of several restaurants, two of which we frequented (one an Irish restaurant (James Joyce)) on an overnight trip. The parking garage was less than a block away and was connected to the hotel. Thought the $25 per day parking fee was a little high particularly since our visit was "not in season." The room was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is a short drive to Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center where I had an appointment. Aside from the Inner Harbor which offers a number of experiences, the Baltimore Civil War Museum in only a few blocks from the hotel. The rate at the hotel was good.

We stayed for a weekend getaway. The location is very convenient to walk to Inner Harbor and Fells Point. The staff at the hotel were all very prompt and courteous. We payed a fee to have breakfast included in our stay. The breakfast at The Bistro was very convenient and the service was great but the options are somewhat limited. Our room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The room did show some wear and there is some noise from the street, etc. Parking is convenient, we did not drive anywhere during our stay. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel including the parking garage.

smooth overnight stay! front desk staff very friendly and extremely helpful, my room on the 12th floor was immaculate and comfortable, with a little balcony. fantastic location a few steps away from the waterfront. definitely my hotel choice in the area!

The most notable part of my stay was the staff. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is very clean. The adjacent parking garage is easy to manage and reasonably priced. This hotel is close to other, much more expensive hotels. Although my room was somewhat dated, it was spotless and a good size, a great value for what I paid. I'm glad I chose Courtyard rather over another hotel that cost hundreds more.

This is a nice Marriott Courtyard hotel right in the heart of Harbor East. Our room was spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. The AC worked GREAT which was important during the heat wave the week we were there. Strong WiFi signal. The room did have an unusually small TV for a hotel at this price point, I thought. It did have Netflix though, which was nice. The staff, particularly the front desk staff, was very helpful and friendly. They helped us with directions, honored our room location request, granted us a late checkout and stored our luggage. The lobby area is nice and spacious. There's a Starbucks in the lobby with small bites for breakfast. There's a deli right next door called Harbor East that sells pizza by the slice (a bit high at $5.50/slice) and cold beer. There's also a Whole Foods market on the corner. The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of both Little Italy and Fells Point. We enjoyed walking around. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and go to the Ovenbird Bakery in Little Italy. It is absolutely AMAZING. It's only 2 years old and was just voted the best bakery in Baltimore in an annual roundup by Baltimore Magazine. There are plenty of other terrific restaurants in Little Italy too (Cafe Gia is a great one). We also loved walking to Fells Pt. It's so cute. Make a reservation at Thames Street Oyster House. We were on a 3-city trip (NYC/Philly/Baltimore) and had our best meal at Thames. As you can see, we were quite happy with the location and would stay here again on our next Baltimore trip. This hotel met and exceeded expectations.

My son and I stayed here after his lacrosse showcase to enjoy what Baltimore’s inner harbor offered. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was located just far enough from the harbor that there wasn’t a view but so well located. The staff were welcoming and always pleasant. We would definitely stay here again next time in town
