I don't rate places but our food from here was so good I had to. We almost didn't order from GruB factory bc the pictures looked so convincing that we thought the vegan label was a mistake! Get the chicken cheesesteak or the grub burger, they both rock. I'm so glad I found this place.

As a vegetarian, I've been curious about this place for a while, and now today marks my second time coming here. Last time, I had the cheesesteak and BLT, with a side of mac and cheese -- wasn't very keen on the cheesesteak, but really liked the BLT! I'm a long-time BLT addict and this one hit the spot. Today, I got the chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese -- for some reason, the mac and cheese tastes fine, but hasn't hit me right the first or second tries (couldn't finish it both times). On the flip side, the chicken sandwich was delicious!! If you're a curious vegan or otherwise, I think this place deserves a try. Easy to miss but worth a visit. I def intend on coming again, though I'll probably get a different side next time.

Good first experience. This a tiny vegan cafe. Seating is very limited so you may want to grab it to go. The mushroom burger melt was delicious! The Mac and cheese was decent but could use a little more salt. The service is a bit slow so be prepared to wait. The food prices are decent. My friend was not crazy about the Philly cheese steak but I'd definitely go back and try other things on the menu even though I'm not vegan.

If there's a place that vegan food can be absolutely delicious, hearty, stick to your ribs it's this place. Got the special of the day cheesy fish sub ($11) and made it a meal (+$4). The cheesy fish sub was amazing in every way possible. Crispy "fish" and decadent "cheese" sauce and mayo. I don't know how they made vegan protein have a fishy taste - what's the secret? Mac n cheese could be seasoned more and the okra was in a pool of oil, but personal preference. Great portions. Excellent service, located downtown.

One annoying thing about going vegan is still going out for breakfast or brunch with friends. Most places only have eggs, French toast, and sometimes even the oatmeal is made with milk... so it can be hard to find veg friendly options. Enter the Grub Factory. I found this place during a craving for French toast & eggs and oh my lanta did it hit the spot. The best part? Everyone I sent a photo to didn't believe it was vegan (and if they had tasted it they wouldn't have believed either). This place is definitely making it on my "will return soon" list!

Oh my goodness! Great staff, great food. Relaxed atmosphere. Loved this place. Food is outstanding. Hubby and I split our food so we could sample more. Do yourself a favor and go grab a burger from the GruB Factory!!!

Decent vegan place. I came here because a couple of vegan youtubers had come here and raved about the Mac and cheese as well as the cheesesteak. I got the cheesesteak, collard greens, Mac and cheese, and home fries. The food was pretty good- not the greatest vegan food I've had, but decent. If they just amped their flavors up from a 6 to a 10, they would certainly get 5 stars from me. The flavors are good, but lacking in intensity. It needs more spice, more salt, and just more flavor. I know they can do it, but maybe are catering to a broader audience that likes blander food. The vibe is wonderful. Though small with few seats, there is artwork of Isis and nods to ancient Kemet/African influence and movement toward conscious/spiritual liberation. The music being played was great. It is definitely worth a try for vegans in the Baltimore area.

The GruB Factory does not disappoint... from the warm and professional customer service, down to the delicious food (you wouldn’t believe this is a vegan restaurant). ALL the burgers are so hearty and flavorful! The Italian sausage, Cheese-Fish, GYRO, Homefries, mac&cheese and cheesecake are some of our favorites. Try it once...and you’ll never stop! I’ve been ordering every week since learning about this spot and each person I tell gets hooked just the same. Which is a bonus because we split something I’ve already had and then I order something new. The last order was delivered by DoorDash.
