Arrived to my 6:30 reservation at 6:40 and was told they would not be able to honor it due to their kitchen with only 2 cooks was overwhelmed. I asked "what the point of reservations are, aren't they supposed to make sure things like this dont happen?" and was told that they had a lot of reserved tables in there. More than likely a lie to try and defuse the situation but ended up making me angry. If they had told me they made a mistake and they are sorry but they wouldnt be able to honor it then this review probably wouldnt have been written.

Charm'tastic M.

The Yard inside the Marriott Inner Harbor has a new happy hour. The 5 oz. Crab Cake with an Orange Crush was superb. It gets you ready for baseball season. The hotel-restaurant is steps away from The Charm'tastic Mile & Orioles Park at Camden Yards.

Was in town for a conference. The food was fantastic! The wait staff even better. Great conversation and hospitality. I did encounter a problem though. I ordered breakfast via the hotel's app the night before...AND IT NEVER SHOWED UP! I talked to the waitstaff and they were going to report it...to no avail. It was still on my hotel bill. I expected a credit. The staff did make up for it with crab cakes, but I still shouldn't have been charged. Don't have the energy to fight this. I'm subtracting a star because of the issue.

Great bar and restaurant - much better than we expected for one within a hotel. Excellent location for a meal before a show at CFG Bank Arena or a game at Camden Yard. All the staff were very personable and professional.

Literally waited at the bar for 15mins for some type of service. It's a little busy, but when 4 employees are cackling at the kiosk, and one goes "the lady is waiting", and you still don't come by and offer a menu or a drink, it's a problem.

We went because the online menu looked great and it was closest to the Hippodrome before our show. They only offered a limited menu...which was stated in other reviews months back. Very disappointing. The salmon for my salad was not fresh.

The food is about 5/10 and a little over cooked especially the Caesar chicken salad but the chicken wings were actually cool. Service great food not so only come here for drinks ? & desert.

The food was absolutely terrible. Everything was tough and over cooked. We ended up eating a side of fries, BBQ wings & a glass of Prosecco and I ended up paying 45.91for food I didn’t like or eat. They took the tenders back & still charged me. Also, the menu online wasn’t the menu and prices we got at the restaurant.

We came to the yard purposely because we saw the menu online beforehand. We got there and it was a limited menu for the evening. We struggled to find anything that we would want to eat. The music was not very good for a Saturday night dinner as wrap was playing in the background. And the crabcake came out cold was hoping for a better dinner. SERVICE was fine.

We had a reservation at 6:00 and arrived at 6:01 just to be told we would have to wait 10 minutes for a table. A half an hour later, we asked again and were told they have more reservations available online than they do seats. Maybe fix that or don't take reservations? They have to know that people going to the Hippodrome, right down the street cannot accommodate delays, which is why someone would make a reservation. Worst yet, they didn't apologize or even act concerned that we were inconvenienced.

For being a whiskey bar, the cocktails were mediocre at best. However, the food was surprisingly good. Only a few blocks from the Hippodrome, a good place for lunch before a show.

We made a reservation online just to be told they have more reservations available online than they had tables. Fix that, maybe? The Hippodrome is right down the street and they must know that having to wait over 30 minutes past your reservation time to NOT be seated can mess up your night if you have seats for a show. What's worse is no one apologized or even acted concerned that we had been inconvenienced.
