I strongly believe that everyone who gave a good review have some connections to this place. I am jamaican and would hesitate to talk bad about my fellow Jamaicans. However, the food there is not a representation of Jamaica. The food is unseasoned and tasteless. I would rather eat my belt than to eat their j*** chicken.

Beef patty’s are fake u can get them same frozen beef Pattie’s from any supermarket. And the service suck. The best Jamaican food I’ve had since me and my family moved here…hands down..Jerk chicken has flavor to the bone! The customer service is good as well. The oxtail also has a lot of flavor. You won’t be disappointed.

The MOST disappointing and disrespectful Caribbean food I've EVER had on the face of the EARTH. You know the "vybes"...they're NOT Tropical.I ordered a J*** Chicken Salad expecting it to be exotic and full of flavor. My order was placed by phone with some ANNOYING third-party outsourced company located overseas that asked a million questions for over 5 minutes on how I wanted my order and they STILL didn't get it right...[they left out the olives!]The wait time was 20 minutes. I gave ample time for the order to be fulfilled before I left to go pick it up and it I took me 18 minutes to drive. Once I arrived to the restaurant for pick-up, the food still wasn't even ready...IT WAS SIMPLY A SALAD so I was confused!Too bad I was schemed out of over $11 for cut up chicken strips over lettuce that I could've went to the grocery and made MYSELF for MUCH less of a price.What a waste of money, time and gas. NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered the large oxtail & got a ton of rice & beans, mac & cheese (no cabbage/veggie) & not much oxtail and the oxtail I got was the complete opposite of fall off the bone. All for $25. Not going back.

This restaurant is horrible, I've been there twice and a 3rd time won't happen. The first time the rice was sour/off, I called told them so they wouldn't sell it to others and get sued. I just threw everything away, because it was too cold to go back out. The 2nd and last time, was when I got the oxtails, rice & peas...the oxtails were tough, the gravy was overly salty and the rice was made people that don't know what Jamaican food should taste like. This spot so far is a let down, prices are inconsistent and customer service is awful. The recipes need to be standardized and revised because ONLY PEOPLE THAT DONT KNOW WHAT JAMAICAN FOOD SHOULD TASTE LIKE WILL ACCEPT THIS INSTEAD.

Saw this place on Uber eats decided to give it a try. When I opened the box the food looked good but that were it stopped. I ordered curry chicken and curry goat. The Curry chicken had a good taste but the depth of flavor was not there. Usually curry is more saucy but I pretty much had none on my food. The chicken wasn’t even coated. The curry goat had more curry sauce on it but there was barely any meat. The rice and peas were good but the veggies were almost raw. I will not be returning.

Great customer service and top notch eats...best Caribbean food takeout spot in the city...the j*** wings are the best between Richmond VA and Philadelphia. Peppas in New York has the best j*** chicken but if you want to drive 2 hours for chicken go right ahead.

This is the most unprofessional food business I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been there three times and the first two times, they were out of everything I wanted to order and it was 11am. The third time I went there to order, the guy took my order and said it’s be ready in 10-15 mins, after waiting 25 mins, he said they didn’t have pasta so they couldn’t fulfill the order that was due 10-15 mins ago. Ended up ordering rice and it was stale and gross. Please save your money and pick a different Jamaican spot.

This is the worst Jamaican place I have ever ate from. They gave me 4 oxtail for 22.00. They filled the box with crunchy stale rice.

UPDATE: The food tasted really good but something WAS NOT RIGHT. My WHOLE family had diarrhea today . The human body is very sensitive and will reject any type of harmful bacteria that is not our own. It’s honestly disgusting to even begin to think of what this could have been. This leads me to believe that something in the process of preparing that food was UNSANITARY. This was the only thing that we all ate together and then less than hours later we all started running to the bathroom and it lasted all day long . This establishment needs to ensure that their employees are following sanitary procedures while preparing food and also take necessary precaution to ensure that the food being served is cooked thoroughly and is not expired . Something was so so so wrong ! Such a shame because we really wanted to love this place !________________The food was really really good . Malik took our order and made our food all by himself . Everything was made to order . Thank you , we will be back !

The flavor of the oxtail was good but I was disappointed because they gave me the end of the oxtail pieces. Their rice was not that great but it was ok little crunchy for my liking and the fried dumplings were so heavy and full of dough I could have used it for a ⚾️ but overall I ate it.
