Vida Taco Bar has a nice setting and beautiful open windows looking out on the water. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. For my appetizer I ordered the queso which I was hesitant about because everyone doesn’t make great queso BUT it was so fresh and not to thick and packed with flavor. The chips paired with the queso so I definitely would get again. Now the Tacos ? I alway get a variety of tacos because it’s very fun, lol. First, I ordered the Seared Scallops which was packed with flavor. Second taco I ordered was a Thai Basil Shrimp which was also pretty good. The third taco was the soft shell crab and the sauce was definitely my favorite the crunch from the deep fry was really good. My only con was of your not fond of eating the whole shell this isn’t a taco for you. I couldn’t eat the whole thing but it had nothing to do with the flavors it was more of a texture thing.I also ordered me a drink I ordered the Vida Spicy with a shot of Casamigo. Unless you love and can down a spicy hot drink this is not for you, I wasn’t to fond of it but I drank it because who wants to waste liquor lol.All in all I would go back to try other tacos and drinks.

Okay, so we gave this place a try because we heard the margaritas and tacos are good. We got a pitcher, it did not meet any of our expectations, tasted like lime juice. We loved the Corn Bite!

The tacos are legit and the nachos are amazing (carne asado, sweet potato, cauliflower-three different tacos). The prices are high though, guacamole for two that appears to be made with a single avocado is $12. For two people that's a serving size, but the mark up is insane! Also, 20% is added on for gratuity, which I think makes all the waitstaff responsible for everyone-naturally it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. The armosphere was fun and lively, without being wild. It was strange to hear two different sets of music playing at the same time.My friend loved the purple drank.

Vida Taco Bar is located in a prime location at The Point with great views and a good atmosphere. I dined outside to enjoy the nice weather. Service was well paced starting with drinks and appetizers. The Purple Drink is a very tasty blend of sangria and margarita, and has a nice punch to it. My favorite appetizer was the grilled corn bites, which is a remix of eloté. It was actually the best thing I tasted at the restaurant. The blend of smoked paprika, chilli powder and other seasonings mixed with crema and cotija cheese are perfection. I like that it was cut into bit sized pieces. The chips and dips were good also. The tacos are "designer" as the manager called them and were sufficient in comparison to my preference of authentic style street tacos. The best of the trio I had was the scallop taco because they were prepared perfectly as a scallop should be and I even enjoyed the included toppings. The thai shrimp has amazing flavor. The pulled chicken was just ok. Alternative options of flour, corn or lettuce wraps are provided for dietary accommodations.Overall, Vida is a great spot for the ambiance, drinks and corn if nothing else. I would return for those reasons and the service alone.

Vida has quickly become one of the worst places for Tacos. The service has drastically declined since the change in management! I would recommend finding a different place for tacos.

This was my first visit and I cannot say enough about how good the food was. As well the regular margaritas were excellent as well. The general manager was very kind. My only complaint is that the waitress did a lousy job in checking back in with us to see if we needed anything. I finally had to ask one of the other employees to go find her.

Great atmosphere, cauliflower tacos AMAZING, sweet potato tacos tasty, fun and friendly staff, churros could use a little more love and tenderness (they were hard and just not what a chirro should be like). Decent price point, especially for the location. I'd go back.

Great drinks and yummy queso. A little pricey but a fun atmosphere and right next to the water!

It is/was Cinco de Mayo the expectation of long wait times, understood. It was a nice day. We had over 45mins to wait and talk.Once seated, the menu (lack of menu) was a disappointment. -⭐️ The volume of people decreased. The sun-set. Took a while for drinks (nothing to be desired on that menu either. No alcohol in the drinks). -⭐️My sister ordered twice before my 2 basic tacos came. The tacos were......okay. The so called guacamole had no taste. Simple mashed avocados. I hooked up tho??‍?. -⭐️Maybe this is more geared to the ?‍♂️?‍♀️white community location.I might try one more time just be to sure.Positive: the location once construction is finish should be a cute dating spot and photo location. Sadly there is not 1 1/2⭐️.

This was probably the worst decision to make. I took my wife and daughter here for Cinco de Mayo, thinking "oh it's a taco bar, surely there will be some good specials and service for the occasion." WRONG! We were told the wait would be 45 minutes. It was actually 90 minutes to get seated, another 30 to hunt down a server, and we had to beg for napkins and silverware. You know, the stuff that comes standard at a restaurant? Also they gave us a broken highchair. The screw fell out and my daughter also fell, but I caught her before any damage was done. My wife had to get rowdy to get the manager who didn't seem to give two craps. Bad enough the menu has NO child friendly options. They have a full bar with no soft drinks somehow. They add 20% gratuity regardless of how poor of a job they do. The tacos are miniature versions of what you get at a REAL Hispanic joint but cost twice as much (thanks gentrification). The margaritas are garbage. You couldn't pay me to come back to this hell hole. The DJ was great tonight but again, spend your money elsewhere. This was a family night gone completely wrong.

Vida use to be one of my favorite local spots for Tacos. Lately the service has been so horrible. Thought last week was a fluke, maybe an off night because it was Tuesday and kind of busy, a week later even worst service! I noticed a lot has changed and all of the old servers who were awesome, no longer work here. If you’re looking for great service paired with great food, I would say avoid this place.

2 words - scallop tacos. Sound odd? I though so too, but you need to try these!!! I thought their non-traditional (chicken and steak) tacos were subpar to the scallop and potato tacos, both of which had a spicy, creamy sauce. A little bit on the expensive side because everything is a la crate, but If you're looking for some unique options, this place is for you. They also get super busy on weekends, so come early. I like their purple drink as well, which I believe is a mix of a margarita and sangria... yum!!

Vida Taco doesn't rank as high on my list of taco joints in Baltimore, but it's a nice option if you want to sit down / have a view of the harbor while you eat. The tortillas and meats didn't pack a ton of flavor, and the portions left you wanting more for the price. But the restaurant has some fun daily deals like 20% on Tuesdays, $30 pitchers of house cocktails on Wednesday etc. only for dine in!

Vida is the best! For drinks, I recommend the purple drink and the Paloma. Both are super refreshing and sweet! If I'm with a big group, we'll usually order some appetizers. My favorites are the nachos and corn bites! The nachos are loaded with toppings and we also add chicken for extra protein. The corn bites are basically elotes and great to share. The tacos are the star of the show! They have a wide variety of specialty tacos, but my favorite are the scallops and twice cooked lamb. Both are super tender and flavorful, and surprisingly filling! I also tried the Al pastor, which was tasty. Overall I don't think you can go wrong with any! Highly recommend for happy hour! They also have daily deals throughout the week for dine in, so check those out!

Came on a Friday night with a large party. Initially there wasn't a table large enough for our group, so we initially split our party up. The servers were super nice in letting us move to a larger table set up once more tables opened up. Service was attentive and quick. We tried several drinks: the original margarita, the smokey one, and a blood orange. The smokey one was the tastiest. For appetizers, we tried the guacamole, queso (these two were a bit smaller in terms of portions), the nachos (great! so many toppings), and the corn bites. My favorite was the corn which was smothered in deliciousness. For tacos, I got the pork belly and the scallops. The scallops were perfectly seared and delicious--actually an impressive amount of scallops for the price. The pork belly was also perfectly tender and seasoned; however there was something in the toppings that was super spicy for me! Great flavor though. One thing that I wish they would do is to heat the tortillas up; they come cold which is a bit jarring when you take a bit with the hot filling of the tacos. We finished with the churros but they weren't for me as they were a bit oily/greasy. All in all, we had a great time.
