The people here are always friendly. Prices are a little high. The self-checkouts require way too much interaction. Many places now, you tap your phone, and walk out. Too many questions to answer and too many buttons to push. No contact, please.
I have been a customer of this Giant Food store for more than 30 years, but recent changes, all in the name of security, have made it a lot less pleasant to shop there. In addition to one of the two entry doors being permanently closed, the self-service checkouts are now limited to no more than 20 items, and shoppers who use their own bags must enter the number of bags they intend to use before they begin scanning their purchases.
