This was our third Valentine's Day Dinner at Liberatores. The food is always good, the décor is nice, but the open floor plan cuts down on the ambiance a bit. The one negative eating there on Valentine's Day is that a bunch of other people had the same idea, and service was on the slow side, as the kitchen was "slammed" as our server put it.

Every time we come there on a holiday the food takes forever and is always cold. We came there on New Year's Eve and then again this pass Valentine's Day. Any other time of the year the food is great.

To start with, our server was very nice, but she brought out a cup of soup for each of us, even though we had ordered bowls. We did not get her attention to correct it for a few minutes so we just started eating. To correct the issue, she brought out the bowls of soup after we had nearly finished the cups... by then it was too much. It probably would have been better if she had just listed cups instead of bowls on the check. The cream of crab soup had a lot of shells in it, which made it difficult to enjoy. I ordered the crab ravioli and my husband ordered the penne with scallops special. His was ok, but like he said, it didn't "wow" him. Mine pasta was just ok as well. I think I was expecting it to be something a little different than cheese ravioli with some crab meat thrown on top. That could have been my misunderstanding of the menu, but it changed the flavor and consistency for me... again, not "wowing" me. We have eaten here before and the food was much better than this visit. Also, when making the reservations I did not realize they had created separate reservation categories for the booths, or else we would have requested one upon our reservation. They placed us in the middle of the restaurant and for Valentine's Day, it did not feel very intimate. There was not much room between tables at all.

Our food was good, but our seating was not. Lots of empty tables upstairs at 4:45 on Valentine's Day (at least 10-15 empty) and we were seated directly in front of the upstairs bar and another couple. Definitely looking for a more private atmosphere on Valentine's Day, especially when 80% of the tables were not occupied.

I was very disappointed since I've had good experiences, in the past but this was not about the food . I decided to spend our special day here after having such great food at my Uncles 60th birthday party catered at the Bel Air location . Last night we arrived a little early when I checked in. The girl at the front (hostess) was rude in my opinion . I told her I knew we were a little early and gave my name . Instead of saying we could wait in the bar or something she said “ well you'll have to check in a couple mins before your reservation “. She wasn't welcoming at all !! Once we were seated , it was in the back and in the middle of loudness . I asked our waitress (she was very nice ) if we could move to a booth . I explained to her that it was our 28th anniversary and I requested a booth on my reservation. She said she would have to check and went upfront. When she came back, she told me that we would have to wait if we wanted a booth. I'm pretty sure it was the same girl upfront that was not accommodating us even though there was an open booth and another couple, leaving a booth, I was so disappointed that we left which I have never done before last night. I'm writing this review to help the owners realize it's more than the food, it's the experience. Its important to realize people are choosing their restaurant to celebrate special events and days. I was very very disappointed.

This was our first time coming for Restaurant Week. My family visiting from Michigan were able to join us. We were all blown away with the low costs, large portion servings and excellent service. We are actually planning a return visit because our meals were so well enjoyed.

We went to celebrate my wife’s birthday as this is her favorite Harford Country restaurant. She and I both enjoyed our meals and the service was top notch. We don’t go out to eat as much as before so we cherish the times we do and Liberatore’s did not disappoint.

Been twice in the last 6 months and won't be back for a long time. In both cases, service was extremely slow. The last visit, about a week ago, my daughter and I were seated for a full 10 minutes before someone finally approached our table to give us bread. That person wasn't even our server. The place was fairly empty too. We left and walked to Barrett's where we had a nice brunch.

We went there for dinner with friends on 12/20/23, a Wednesday. On Wednesdays they have a special steak night, 3 course meal for $26. Our waiter told us the steaks very good so I decided to go with that. I asked for my steak cooked medium. I got it very well done. With it being overcooked, it did not have a very good steak taste. I can cook a much better one on the grill. I mentioned it to our waiter when he came to our table. He agreed it was not medium, but did not offer to take it back and replace it. Very disappointed in the meal. They should stick to Italian food and forget steaks.

We dined here Christmas Eve. Which I know is typically a busier time, but the restaurant wasn't full however our waitress went MIA quite often. She seemed quite busy. It was a limited menu... we ordered 2 Rigatoni Vodka and a veal parmigiana.... The pasta was cold and had no flavor and my husbands veal was cold as well. We searched all over for our waitress eventually I had to track her down... it still took 5 mins to come over to our table. We sent all 3 dishes back... not something we usually do for lack of taste but the fact that they were all cold, they just weren't edible or enjoyable. The manager eventually came over, we got new dishes quickly and an apology. He was very kind about it. The pasta still had no flavor but at least it was warmer. When we got the bill I was surprised there wasn't at least a percentage deducted. I'm not saying we should have gotten a comp... but at least some goodwill deduction. We've eaten here many times and while the food isn't the best I've ever had it's been enjoyable. This was such a disappointment unfortunately. We will eventually eat there again but it's such a staple in Bel Air... I was just hoping for better.

I was very disappointed that a standard table was not given to us as I had requested in my reservation. I usually come with two or three other priests and request a standard table so the all are comfortable. We are all tall. Can we please have a standard table as we are there quit often. Thank you. Fr.
