I recently went to mission BBQ only because I had a coupon for a few years for a free sandwich, was really expecting to have a great food experience, but instead I got a brisket sandwich on a roll that was disgusting,it had so much grease and oil that it soaked the roll, I still tried to eat it,but couldn't. The only good thing is I didn't have to pay $11 for it. Which is outrageous to begin with. And what I really wanted was a pit beef sandwich, but they don't serve it. Anyway very disappointed. But the staff and the place is really nice. But the food, at least the brisket need some serious help.I probably won't be back.

Mission BBQ is one of my favorite places in Bel Air. I always go with the moist brisket and normally it is perfect all the way through. This time my piece got a little dry towards the end. I alerted Eric of the issue and he made it right immediately. He even came out after to speak to us and share some pleasantries. Moral of the story is, you can’t be perfect all the time, but you can make it perfect. And that’s what Eric did! Perfection!Salute to you sir.

I come for the brisket. While I can't speak to other customers issues, those that state "moist" has fat are correct. Moist is from the point where there is plenty of fat, and with that, flavor. Probably he best brisket you're going to get outside of Texas. In any case, I've been to a number of Mission BBQ chains around the country. They are very consistent in their service and quality. The staff in Bel Air, MD have always been welcoming, friendly and service oriented.

Tom and I ate early dinner today as first time visit. We appreciated the entire experience. Our pulled pork and cornbread were delicious. Cleanliness was outstanding. Maurice is an outstanding employee for MISSION BBQ and very attentive to guests. Looking forward to returning soon and ordering the salmon...many interesting items on menu.

I really enjoy the food here. The restaurant is the kind where you have to line up to place your order, and then wait a bit to get your food. But once you place your order it comes out fairly quick. There's not a lot of room inside for the line, so on long waits you may be outside for a bit, but there's covering so there's not a weather risk.The prices were very agreeable. It feels like a rarity to go to a restaurant that will have a pre-wrapped brownie to purchase, and have it be less than $5, but here it was only $1.99 and huge. A sandwich, three sides, drink, and dessert, kept me under $20. The menu was a good size. Not too limited and not so much that you wonder "Who wants that?"I've had a variety of their sandwiches, pulled pork, pulled chicken, turkey, brisket. I haven't been dissatisfied with any of them, they've all been really good and well-filled sandwiches. They give you a healthy amount on your sandwich, and the sides are good portions as well. The fries are delicious and crispy, good sea salt fries. The green beans are fairly standard, but, cooked in bacon, so delicious. The top side is absolutely the cheesy potatoes. I'd absolutely recommend that of everything. It was all warm and very good.The decor might be a little much for some. Lots of military decor on the walls so your emotional reaction might range from depressed to neutral or enjoyable so I can't really judge. I was fine with it. It felt like, if Cracker Barrel can put a bunch of old time stuff on the walls, this place surely could decorate as it likes. They also gave out free sandwiches for veterans on Veteran's Day which was a nice gesture.

Food was good. BBQ sauces on the table were all pretty good, I liked the honey heat the best. Brisket was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Pulled pork was great. The turkey was ok, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Food was ready super fast I don't even think it was 5 minutes after we ordered the food it was ready. Overall, definitely will come here again and try other things on the menu

Don't waste your money on the cheeseburger, wasn't hot at all and had no taste to it. Also fries cold. All that was good was the ice tea. This place never seems to have hot food no matter what I order especially the fries. Sad cause i love Mission bbq, canton is the best one around.
Was immediately greeted as soon as we walked in the door and received our food before we even finished filling our drinks! The food was delicious and John was very attentive and polite. Overall amazing experience and can’t wait to come
