This was my 1st visit to Richard's in years. The cream of crab soup was just as I remembered. I also ordered a shrimp salad sandwich. The shrimp salad was good. However, they served it on a very stale brioche bun. The crackers for the soup were also stale. All of which unfortunately negatively impacted the meal and my experience. Please serve customers what you would serve yourself.

Ordered 2 pounds fried cod for family get together and everyone loved it. Pan fried scallops were superb!! Great staff too. It’s nice to be greeted warmly each time I enter.

This was our first time to stop in here. We were very pleased with the friendly and welcoming staff. Our food was excellent.
This is by far the best seafood place in Harford County!! The oysters are always fresh & delicious, the oyster stew is a delicious seasonal treat & the Steamed Crabs have always meet or exceeded my expectations. The Iced Dock sandwiches are out of this world & so is the Shrimp Salad.... In over 3 yrs, I have never once been disappointed! Today, Kylie took my dinner order. Not only was she super nice, but she was extremely knowledgeable & answered all of my questions over the phone.When I came in to pick up my order, I was greeted with a smile. When I got home, I was pleasantly surprised by the huge portion sizes & the freshness of the seafood. I give Richard's an A++ & I would encourage others to definitely make it a point to stop by & try the food here. You honestly don't know what you're missing! Good portion sizes, extremely fresh food, incredible prices & the best customer service... what more could you ask for??Parking: Huge, free parking lot available for customers.

It’s about 3 to 4 hours drive depending on traffic from New York, definitely worth it. The spices on the steamed crabs are far more appealing than the store bought old bay spice.
