Went for dinner not to listen to people bring dogs leave them home. Asked for bread for my dip 3 times it came when we were done eating glass had Crack I'm it. Also birds had nest over eating dropping do do and feathers .. Health department needs notification. Great place but needs fine tuning. No sense being dumb if you can't prove your ignorance.. *

Was in search of lunch and I hit the jackpot at the Sterling Tavern! I sat at the small downstairs bar and the bartender was immediately attentive and helpful. Opted for the Oyster Rockefeller Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Crispy deep fried oysters, flavorful Rockefeller mix, and a perfectly medium burger and the house made chips were a great accompaniment. Highly recommend!

Just adequate. Burger is nothing special. Homemade chips aren't either. Husband enjoyed shrimp po'boy.

Nice restaurant. Busy street with limited parking in the lot behind the restaurant, even on the off season. Food was alright. Environment was loud. Service was excellent.

Stopped in for lunch on a weekday and took a seat at the bar where only one other customer was seated. There are only high-top tables available upstairs. Overall ambience was very warm and welcoming with a small-town pub feel to it. Service was very friendly at the bar as well and we had a nice chat with the management around the bar downstairs after the meal. The menu selection was excellent. I loved the conch fritter appetizer and the Dagwood sandwich was a feast in itself. Sterling Tavern is definitely worth another visit!

I met a friend here on a Thursday night at 6:30. It was pretty crowded and the noise level was so high we could not hear each other speak. We Both ordered burgers. Neither came as ordered. No lettuce and both well done! Service was mediocre, food was fair but noise made it unbearable. We will not return.
