Tried this new restaurant in Bethesda. The service was excellent. Even got to chat with the owner’s mother. The appetizers were very good. The fish dish was superb and the spaghetti dish with clams was good although they were small. Apple cake was a nice desert and the sambuca was good but lacking the coffee beans. Only negative thing was the noise. Could barely hear the server. But I would definitely go back.

The sweet breads are amazing the only thing that comes close is Ralph's in South Philly. The anchovies on the sour dough is good too. To make the experience even better was our extremely cool bartender. Definitely best restaurant in the neighborhood.

We had an incredible meal at Aventino. We tried two items from each section of the menu and gots lots of delicious food. The service was also excellent. I would add that garage parking next door was also convenient.Not pictured are the cocktails that were amazing.Worth mentioning - it is so nice that Bethesda finally has a high-quality, upperscale Italian cuisine resto in the area. Going to DC is always a hassle and brings risks given the many issues in the city. Again, Aventino was great and am so happy to see it in Bethesda!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a main level with no stairs or steps

This is by far the best food I’ve had in a restaurant in the US. Everything was great! Gnocco fritto is a must. And to top it all they have a real espresso served in a real cup. Do yourself a favor, don’t eat in crappy chains, save your money and come here instead. Grazie

We ate at Aventino’s on a Wednesday night. It was packed, and the noise level was so high it was difficult to have a decent conversation. We had a delicious mushroom appetizer. Our mains were lamb ribs and pasta with meat sauce. The pasta was good, the lamb was very fatty. Drinks were ok. This is an expensive restaurant; $144 with tip for 2 people. Everything is a la carte, so the ribs didn’t include any sides….for $45!

Newish restaurant in Bethesda is excellent. 4 of us dined here recently & couldn’t have been more pleased. The decor is classy and casual. The service was attentive and it out being intrusive. But the food….oh, my….outstanding. Best dorado I’ve had. Succulent and well seasoned. Started with a well prepared Manhattan cocktail and a wonderful salad with garlic/anchovy dressing. Can’t remember the name of the dessert we shared (maybe budino?), but it was a delectable way to end a meal. Expensive but worth every penny. Highly recommended!

A beautiful addition to the Bethesda dining scene. We stopped in on Saturday at 5pm to get a cocktail and a glass of wine at the bar. The wine list and cocktail menu include some great selections. I really enjoyed the Pink Lotus cocktail.Our one complaint is that we were served a completely different Prosecco than what is listed on the wine list . The Prosecco listed was Le Colture, ‘Fagher’ | Valdobbiadene, Veneto NV. The Prosecco poured was La Marca Prosecco which we have at home.If there are changes to the wine list, that should be acknowledged by the bartender/server.

Bethesda needs a quality spot like Aventino. The service overall was 4/5 but we ordered 7-8 items and everything tasted great. The risotto, ricotta, panzanella, cacio y Pepe and steak were great. Acorn squash and potatoes for sides.End with the Panna cottaService was good but a tad slow in getting drinks from the bar. Overall our group had a great experience and can't wait to go back

Everything about our meal was amazing! The service was top notch, very attentive to all our needs. The food was beyond delicious, so many flavors and ingredients put together in dishes that made them exquisite. Would absolutely recommend a meal here, but definitely book a reservation, as there was even a wait at the door at 8:30pm!

This place is amazing. The vibe is excellent- the staff is a cohesive, friendly unit. The food was all excellent. The panna cotta was so good I was tempted to get up and tell other tables they had to order it. We had the whipped ricotta and a salad- the misticanza. Both were so delicious that I kept the nearly empty plates and asked for bread to clean them off ?. I ordered the rigatoni for the pasta course and it was excellent. Also- the atmosphere and decor is fantastic- right down to the very cool wallpaper in the ladies room. Just a great experience. I hope this place just takes off.I’d like to add that this place opened 3 weeks ago- and the one person who gave a one star review wrote it 2 months ago. And this person has given almost exclusively one star reviews to restaurants. Ignore.
