The food was mediocre but the service stole the show. It was awful! The waiter was inattentive, to say he was distracted in that uncrowded place, would be an understatement.

Been dining at Bacchus for decades and can't think of a bad thing to say. Occasionally service is slow but you could regard that instead as Middle Eastern "Leisurely" and enjoy your companions' sparkling conversation. They do eggplant several ways, all good. Don't miss the Bacchus eggplant dip. My DH thought he hated eggplant with a passion till he tried it - now he can't get enough! I'm a pescatarian and love small plates as I'm also ADD - this place is perfect for that. My family adore the shish taouk. And unlike many Mideast restaurants, you're not confined to Middle Eastern desserts - they've got a grand chocolate lava cake on the menu if baklava or knafeh aren't your thing. It's usually not noisy and the outdoor terrace is a grand place to sit on a fine afternoon or early evening once DST kicks in (like, now!). My only complaint is lunch ends at 2 and they're closed till 5, so if you want lunch, get there by 12;30. We once showed up at 1 pm and felt rushed by the staff. There, I found something to complain about! Thanks, Bacchus, for many great meals in pleasant surroundings and atmosphere. PS Fabulous ladies' room with mirrors that turn you into 100 images of yourself from every angle. :-)

Horrible food. Some dishes (lamb) inedible) Untrained wait staff - took three separate times over 15 minutes to realize they too some of our orders for 12-party, but not all. Then staff didn’t know how to reconcile … check the table bill so far? Duh blank stared as if from a troop of untrained monkeys. And, Sutton on a covered patio without heat! The owner simply refused’

Food is super flavorful, especially with other different types of herbs, spices and yogurt sauces that they use. Definitely a great place for date night. The service is always top notch. They're always attentive. Kind nice food portions are very good. Food is superb and very flavorful. Great place to go, especially if you want to date night or just really good food and service.Dietary restrictions: Just make sure if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies you let you service know no matter where you go because not how every place will ask, but they will make sure that they recommend dishes and stuff that you can have that are safe for you if you have the types of allergies.

Great place to enjoy good food. If you have questions about the menu the staff is very helpful. The food was great, Turkish coffee ??. They have a belly dancer that even brings you out to enjoy a little two step. I recommend and will be going back as my first experience was

Thanks for serving up the flavors; you've just been visited by the taste-makers of Flavors Club! Bacchus of Lebanon is an absolute gem nestled in Montgomery County, and our recent dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm ambiance to the delightful cuisine, this restaurant has certainly won us over. We decided to embark on a flavor journey, exploring a variety of dishes from the menu. The Tabbouleh was a refreshing delight, bursting with freshness and vibrant flavors. The Zahra makli and Kalage Bel-Jebne are great starters and vegetarian options. The Chicken Shawarma (although not pictured) was also delicious. We capped off our meal with the Cheesy Knafeh, a dessert that was the epitome of perfection, striking the right balance of sweetness. And let's not forget the Lebanese arak--a must-try for anyone seeking the full Lebanese experience. It paired seamlessly with our meal, and added an extra layer of authenticity. What truly elevated our evening was the captivating performance by the belly dancer they have every Friday Night. Her energy and engagement with the crowd added an authentic touch of the Middle East. It was a wonderful addition to an already delightful atmosphere. Speaking of ambiance, the restaurant's aesthetic is nothing short of beautiful. From the décor to the lighting, every detail has been thoughtfully curated, transporting patrons to a serene corner of Lebanon. Bacchus of Lebanon is now at the top of our list for fantastic Lebanese cuisine and good vibes. With its convenient location in Bethesda, you don't have to travel far to experience the magic of this restaurant.

I would like to share my gratitude and appreciation to Sammie, the hostess, who was the reason we did not leave the restaurant the moment we walked in due to unprofessionalism and unacceptable behavior from Timo, the manager. In regards to our experience and the behavior we witnessed towards clients and the service team tonight, I would like to connect with the owner in a different platform to share my concerns about Timo. Please reach out to me with your direct contact information.
