As an Indian, I genuinely love this restaurant. My best friend is from the small and hardly known Coorg community of India, so I was so excited to see a Coorg dish on their menu. I recommended my spouse to try this restaurant’s Coorg chicken. It did not disappoint at all. Being a vegetarian, I ordered chole bhature which was excellent, too. It’s no Michelin star, but since when do Indian restaurants really need any? Leave your fine -dining expectations at home and embrace this restaurant’s humble yet delicious South Indian dishes.

If you can handle spice the bhut jholokia and coorgi are great!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I got take out from here with my friend who is vegetarian/jain and so we only got veg dishes. It was the first time I've had Aviyal and it was amazing. Would def order here again!

The worse ever. My daughter eats Indian Al the time and she couldn’t even finish it. Bland so bland the Chana and rice and questioned the veggie samosa. Hope to get a refund as we can’t finish this.

The only Indian food restaurant in Bethesda that serves North and South Indian food. The taste was superb and the quantity was just right. Radhika is very sweet and thoughtful. Go check them out!

I go there at least 20 times. My little girls adore them but you will enjoy ordering dishes at an non-peak time. They can have time to cook them better. Therefore! Don't go there when it is at peak time. Indian biryani dish is horrible. They didn't complete the cooking! Way too much ghee! Ah! I'll go back there bfore the rush hour begins.

Best Indian food I've had, and my favorite restaurant to eat at. The staff are friendly, and the food is very flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place and I have I haven't had any bad experiences here.

Best Indian food in Bethesda made with love by a wonderful family. The food options are very diverse and have solid flavor without too much spice.

Honestly, the food is below basic. Not much flavor, and very overpriced for the portion sizes. I rarely leave google reviews but I could not just let this one fly, the food really just lacked flavor. I would not return.

Super disappointed with this place. I placed an order for pickup through DoorDash, which came through on the app as confirmed. I went to the spot for pickup on time to be told that they never got the order. The customer service was really lacking.

I'm going to bump it up since this was served in a cafeteria setting at my work; my office's cafeteria opened up a pop up for various local restaurants to come in and today it was Bethesda Curry Kitchen. I opted for the paneer w spinach, butter chicken, chickpeas and basmati rice lunch for $14. Was it the best curry I've had? Far from. But was it decent? Yes. I mean, everything was precooked to the location and warmed up to serve. The rice was well cooked. The butter chicken was a little overcooked with the cubes of breast meat. The spinach still had quite a few spice pods in the mixture that made for exciting bites! The chickpeas, unfortunately, lacked flavor and was more just spicy. Naan was totally forgettable. So overall, a 3 kicked up since it was precooked for who knows how long and would probably be better freshly made.

Dum ka chicken is must try here. Goat biryani tasted good. Lamb chops were under cooked. Kathi role is not so good. The green chutney tasted like it’s almost going to be spoiled. Kadhai paneer is tasty as well.

See attached. I had a buddy eat here as well as me and she found a roach in her food. It bummed me out because their food actually tastes pretty good. Will not be eating here again.
