Excellent service, extremely clean, and good value for the money. Wide range of juices/sodas (THREE types of kombucha this week!), and excellent wraps/paninis, and a great bacon cheeseburger too. I definitely "forget" my lunch at home on purpose, just to have an excuse to stop in.

Such a wonderful gem in Bethesda Towers! I always go for breakfast and lunch when I'm in the building on one of my work trips to Bethesda. I love the fresh and healthy food options, especially the Korean specials! The women working there are incredibly sweet and personable, and the food is very affordable! Definitely show this place some love.

Lo mein and the spicy Caesar wrap are my faves

The best deli I have ever had the pleasure of going to. The food is very fresh and prepared with care right in front of you. Joy is very pleasant and goes so far as to remembering peoples names :)

The best lunch spot in Bethesda Towers! Everything is fresh and made to order. The best items on the menu are the rotating selection of specials, including the wonton soup, salad bowls, ginger pork, spicy pork, and bibimbap. You can't go wrong with the rest of the menu though, and the owner and staff are delightful.

I patron Bethesda Gourmet regularly. There is one other cafe in the complex but my preference is Bethesda Gourmet. The owner (my assumption) Joy is very personable and remembers names of her regulars. She also remembers regular orders and preferences. The cafe has a menu of hot and cold sandwiches. There are also usually a few specials such as bibim bowls, lo mein, wraps, soups, etc. The cafe also provides a small variety of fruit, salads, muffins, cookies, a variety of snacks and fridges full of yogurt, sodas, and juices. I can usually find something good at Bethesda Gourmet. Also, even if you don't particularly see something on the menu, still ask. I would recommend Bethesda Gourmet and will continue to frequent the cafe.

The food is typically good, but last week I went here for a turkey melt but there was no turkey in my sandwich. Didn't taste very good without it so I only ate half I and threw the rest out.

Bethesda Gourmet is a small café inside one of the Bethesda Towers on East West Highway (within walking distance of the Bethesda Metro). This café is owned by the sweetest little Korean lady named Joy. Joy has about three to four other women working for her in this café which serves the healthiest meals within the block. Joy prepares the menu and stocks her own inventory of fresh made quinoa, salad, fruit and smoothies. Everything I have ever ordered has been super fresh and made to order, you can ask for add-ons or negate something you don't want. She serves everything from breakfast meals to lunch specials and dinner-esq entrees. In addition to her special menus, she has a small "store front" that offers sodas, juices, water, nuts, chips, candy and other snack options for sale. Please note that there is seating, about three long tables. But if you come in here during lunch hours, be prepared to get ran over by the high schoolers and fine no seating!

I couldn't ask for a better local Korean-owned cafe situated in my office building. Joy, the owner, uses all fresh ingredients and everything is made to order. The bibimbap is on point and so is the Korean BBQ. When in doubt, order the spicy chicken caesar wrap. I'd also be remiss if i didn't mention that they serve a delicious breakfast! This spot is my saving grace when I'm all out of groceries. They don't get 5 stars because I don't think they appreciate their regulars as much as they should.

If there were a battle of the Korean-owned delis in the Bethesda Towers complex, the Bethesda Gourmet would win. Granted, there are only two places to get food within the three buildings... but still, the Gourmet wins. Although it's smaller and doesn't feature a hot foods buffet where you pay by the pound like the other place.... The food is fresh, the turkey meat in the sandwiches comes from an actual turkey that they carve in front of you, the salads have homemade croutons, Wednesdays are Ginger Chicken, the owner knows all of her customers' names, they take credit cards and the workers wear gloves while handling the foods. You will not find those aforementioned features in the other place. It's also nice that the place offers seating and is clearly clean and well-kept. AND... it doesn't get as crowded as the other place when it's lunchtime for the teenyboppers from the high school across the street.
