Pretty chill hangout spot. You can bring food from nearby restaurants and eat it here with friends (or by yourself). Plenty of space, seating, and restaurants. You can bring your kids (with or without fur).

This should be a pedestrian eating and social area forever, it is so much better than letting cars through. I wish we could have these everywhere

Last week was our first time we went to this excellent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We had a good time with the courteous service, with the great cuisine and booze and with the honest cost. We will surely return there again.

I like this spot! They give fantastic meals, their menu is large, The chief cook in that place is a real pro, I enjoy a lot tasting all their food. The dishes are always good, the service towards the visitors is helpful. I visit often this restaurant and I was never discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Bethesda Streetery is a fantastic concept and I hope it sticks around forever! More permanent structures to start with but I love the painted benches and artsy gazebos. Everything is spacious and walkable with plenty of places to choose to eat from and gather safely outside. It’s even a great spot for large parties (10-15 people) that I saw which is quite difficult to find these days. There’s that much space around for everyone to feel comfortably distant wether you’re there to study or eat or see old friends. I hope they make the barriers that mark the ends of the Streetery more permanent, perhaps with an arch way with vines and a grand sign designed by a local artist perhaps and even string lights strung across the whole walk way from building to building to truly make the space fully realized.I grew up as a kid in the 90s in the DC/MD area going to Bethesda to the United Artist theater and since then (I’m now 34) I love the direction downtown Bethesda is heading in. This new space for the masses to eat and hang out drink coffee or study or even a place to rest while biking through Bethesda Streetery MUST stick around! I have ideas for the cold season but I hope whoever is in charge of the future of Bethesda Streetery as a whole can really keep this going and continue to build and grow on it.
