Just ok. Tried a plain glazed donuts and a piece of chocolate cake. It's not often that I crave chocolate enough to order it, but when I do, it definitely better be chocolately. Sadly, this was not. The cake was unexceptional and the icing was mildly chocolatey. Boo. My partner got a slice of raspberry wedding cake and also had a mediocre experience.

Saturday 11/11/2023 The customer service was some of the best I've ever experienced, it was amazing. The woman working was very helpful and enthusiastic in assisting me with what I should order by throughly explaining all the baked items I had questions about. I ended up getting a Cronut $3.50, a glazed donut $1.85, 3 Cinnamon buns $2.50 per bun, and a carrot cake slice $8. The Cronut is a croissant donut and it was definitely my favorite item I got: airy and great texture & taste. I would definitely come back just for this item. The glazed donut was decent but nothing special. The cinnamon buns were what I was most hype for but it ended up being underwhelming: the bread wasn't moist and it had more of a dry/stale taste. The carrot cake slice was surprisingly better than I expected and was pretty good BUT $8 for a single slice is pretty expensive. Overall, my experience was great: amazing customer service with a wide variety of delicious baked goods. I would definitely recommend and return to this bakery.

Go in and get lost in the smell, the goods and the kindness. The line is there for a reason. They have such good bakery treats.

This bakery has delicious bread and pastries! However, I do wish they had more vegan options other than the Vienna white.Staff is very welcoming!

The bakery was delightful! The staff lady was helpful. They were busy yet when I was greeted it was a good interaction. So much to choose from ??. I bought 2 bear claws, 2 twist donuts, and a cream Danish! I couldn't take a picture of it all - but just know it was delish ???.I'd go again if I'm ever in Bethesda or in Anne Arundel County. Next time I'd buy more Danish treats, Scandinavian bread, spinach quiche (they didn't have any at that time), and a muffin or two ?. I would absolutely recommend the shop to anyone.Parking: The parking is in front of the shops and extended parking is to the shops left, as you walk out. It has about <100 spots and a huge elevated parking garage (not sure if it's free or paid parking there.)

I ordered a cronut and a macaroon. The macaroon was delicious and a good value. The cronut was thick, dry, not sweet, very doughy, and not flavorful. The cashier was confident that I'd be back after having tried the cronut. Not true.

This spot has the most DELICIOUS donuts. Oh my goodness! We arrived in the late afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to see a wide selection offerings. Cake donuts, yeast donuts, filled donuts, sprinkle donuts -- and that was just the donuts! There was also a wide array of breads, cookies and other pastries available. A huge assortment! The staff were friendly and very helpful. It took us a little bit of time to decide which types of donuts to buy and we were never rushed-- simply encouraged to order as many tasty options as we liked! The donuts were very affordable (just over $2 each). The donuts were fresh and full of flavor. We tried many different kinds -- frosted, sprinkled and filled. Each filled donut had a lot of filling and tasted like it was made by hand, in the bakery. I can't wait to try all the other baked goods at this spot! Can't believe I have lived near this spot for years and have never stopped by until now. I will be back soon!

Echt Pretzels. The only place that comes close in the DMV is Heidelberg Shopp. Keep up the good work and run here if you are planning an Oktoberfest celebration. For me, I ask for the extra salt despite what my doctor says.

Coming from germany, the bread in the united states is really ... not that great. Breads unlimited is the only bakery I found so far, that has good bread. It's a bit on the expensive side (~$12 for 2 lbs), but it's also really good. I gladly take the 1 hour drive to get there - tastes like home.

Best quiches! Hard to choose between them but the bacon version is excellent. We enjoy stopping by every Sunday after Mass to pick up baked goods. The selection is wonderful. The cro-nuts are delicious! They will slice loaves of bread for you too.

I just had the best sugar covered donut and I regret only buying one.
