Great dine-in atmosphere, connected to my hotel made checking in and getting lunch a breeze. Always friendly, the staff smile the moment you make eye contact.

I'm willing to give this place another shot, but based on this morning's experience, it will take some convincing. My office is at Bethesda Metro Center so I decided to give Brown Bag a try for breakfast as alternative to Starbucks. I signed up for the App, completed my order and proceeded to walk over around pick up time. I went to the online order pick up shelving and didn't see that mine was ready yet, so I got my coffee. Lukewarm. I stood around patiently waiting for someone to acknowledge me or appear with my order. Nothing. Finally, the lone person there looked at me and then at the order on her counter and BEGAN to make my veggie scramble. By that time, 2 other employees (one manager?) started working furiously on larger orders. I inquired if this was the normal process...food prepared upon arrival (not having been there before). I was told they were slammed. No apology, and then just glaring looks from the person preparing my eggs. She tossed a piece of bread in the toaster and plopped it into the to-go bowl--hardly toasted.I will say the eggs were good, but the non-welcoming atmosphere won't have me running back soon.

Great location. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast and lunch.Only complaint is that the straws they use break as soon as you put any pressure even with your lips, and they use too much plastic when they claim they are environmentally minded. Other than that, everything is good.

Brown bag is fantastic, they have calories posted and lots of options to choose from for salads and sandwiches. Get in early for the soup of the day, usually there’s only 2 options and they go quickly! Smoked turkey is moist, but left bank chicken salad is a classic. Can’t go wrong. Give your phone number for points too, they add up and you can get $10 off your mealDietary restrictions: They are really good about dietary restrictions and allergies!

Oh, I had such high hopes for this establishment. I've wanted to try their food for such a long time. Well I found a hair in my salad, which is absolutely disgusting. I'm disappointed that this happened and I definitely will not be eating food from them again.

Tried to place an order for 15 mins but couldn't. You fill in a card with your order and it is set up totally confusing (cards designed badly), had many questions (that didn't fall into their boxes), no one to ask, no one to take the card, asked other customers standing there, also did not know. The people behind the counters completely ignored me so I couldn't ask a question or give my card to anyone. Just left as it wasn't worth the hassle. Didn't actually try the food as I couldn't get that far.

I have been to the Bethesda location three times. I walk a mile to the restaurant to get exercise and pick up lunch. The first time, when I arrived home with my salad, I realized they used spinach instead of the romaine I ordered - not a big deal. Second time, they failed to put on the salad dressing I selected. I had some at home, so ... no problem. Third time, I had chosen corn as an ingredient, which in the past had been whole kernels of yellow, "fresh" corn. It looked a little odd when I saw her putting it in the salad - small and brown, so I asked her what it was and she told me it was corn. When I got home and tasted it, it was very hard, very chewy and had little taste. I cannot imagine anyone intentionally selecting this item for a salad. There was too much of it to easily remove it. It was awful. The salad was inedible. This is particular dismaying, because I had pointed it out to the salad maker when she was making it, and she acted as if it was fine. Needless to say, I will not go a fourth time.

Had a custom made wrap along with their mango lemonade and I absolutely loved it. Everything inside tasted fresh. I will be back again.

I'm lactose intolerant. Because of this, I specifically requested no cheese and no ranch on my Buffalo chicken sandwich. My sandwich is drowning in ranch dressing. There's no way I can eat this.

This place is near my office so I decided to finally give it a try.... I ordered a very simple soup & sandwich combo and somehow they messed both of those up lol.... They gave me a tomato soup instead of turkey & rice which I ordered online, which they didn't have, but they had Italian wedding as another soup option but didn't tell me when I got there and decided to just give me tomato basil soup, which I hate, and not tell me... then, my sandwich! It is supposed to have turkey on it. Heapings of turkey according to the picture on the website.... Well they forgot to put any turkey on my sandwich. So it is just a sad sliver of avocado, some burnt bacon, a tomato slice, a lot of lettuce, and a slice of cheese..... wow what a great sandwich..... not. So glad I walked there in the freezing cold to get the saddest meal of my life that I won't eat. The guy on the phone said his sandwich maker has been there for 25 years hahahahaha bro he forgot the main part of the sandwich. Check your food before you leave. Apparently My trust issues are valid.
