I first heard about Ensemble from my wife, who attended their Yelp event for Pizza TBD. We loved it so much that we ended up going back several times. Ensemble's food court-style concept offers a diverse range of menus from various restaurants, allowing you to grab your food, and take it home to enjoy in peace and comfort. We've only tried the Pep Boi from the Pizza TBD menu, but it was absolutely amazing - we always end up going back for more. The cup and char pepperoni were perfect, and the spicy honey gives the sweet and salty pizza a little kick. While the pizza may look small for the price, the thick and crispy crust is filling and the perfect size for two people.I'm excited to return and try the sandwiches from the Honeymoon Chicken menu and compare them to the chicken sandwiches I've tried elsewhere. For now, Ensemble is the place to go if you're in the area and looking for delicious pizza!

This used to be one of my favorite take out places, but the quality of the food has dropped dramatically. The chicken used to be delicious, but the last two times I have ordered it has been dry and overcooked in both the sandwiches and chicken bites. It was so bad that I thought it must have been a fluke so I tried again and the second was just as bad. I don't know who made the decision to cheap out on chicken, but you lost a customer.

Fresh, delicious food. First timers. Our new favorite restaurant.

The service, food, and delivery time was perfect! I will be back Friday to try out Honeymoon this time.

If you're looking to get pickup food, this place is very good. We ordered the Honeymoon Chicken Bucket and the chicken was delicious, very crispy. I would prefer the hot honey to be a bit spicier, but you can always add some extra spice. I also think that the chicken was sizable and worth the price. We got the Mac and cheese as a side and it was also tasty very cheesy, although I expected the large to be a bit bigger than it was. If you're going to pick up, I'd recommend coming with someone so they can stay in the car because parking is difficult to find and the lot next to it is metered. Would be nice to have pick up only parking in the lot.

I first tried Ensemble out when they originally opened and it was good but felt like some menu items were just okay. I recently went back because I noticed they had introduced new menu items and vendors. I absolutely love the addition of Pizza TBD and the classic/unique offerings of deep dish pizza. Honeymoon Chicken is delicious as well. Super easy to order ahead online and pick up with ease. Very clean inside and minimal inside!

[edited 11/30 to update a refund was received and credit towards next purchase - thanks Justin!]I love the concept of making some great DC eats accessible to the folks in the 'burbs. We tried a full family order from Honeymoon Chicken after having a taste of it before. There was a slight mix-up in the order size, but that's no big deal and happens. The bigger deal was how the part of our order came out. The chicken that was cooked was great. The other chicken... well... you can imagine how biting into a raw piece of chicken tastes. I hit up Honeymoon directly on FB messenger and they were "really sorry", but haven't done anything about it (I just want a refund on the raw chicken). I also emailed ensemble but haven't heard anything back from them either. So, while I know Honeymoon chicken cooked right is fantastic, the ghost kitchen concept might be a hit or miss experience. It's a great concept where the kitchen has the best of four different restaurants available for delivery. They have food from Federalist Pig, Honeymoon, Pizza TBD, and Milk. It means everyone can find something they like off of one delivery menu. The crispy Brussels sprouts were delicious. The Margherita pizza was the thickest pan pizza I've ever seen with a great sauce on it. The honey chicken Banh Mi was excellent with a fantastic super spicy veggies and the good fried chicken. The crispy mushroom sandwich had huge mushrooms that were so meaty and with a really delicious slaw and spicy sauce. Interesting variety and good portions.

Horrible experience with Grubhub ordering from Ensemble. After a 45 minute wait, the driver left our food at some unknown place at an address that doesn't exist. She sent me a text and just left the food somewhere. I evidently input the address I wanted my food delivered as 7712 old Georgetown Rd instead of 7711 Old Georgetown Rd. There is a building at 7700 Old Georgetown Rd and at 7740 Old Georgetown, but nothing in between. 7712 doesn't exist. I called Ensemble and the person I talked to said they have no way to contact the Grubhub driver. I called the driver and got voicemail. Then I called Grubhub. I spent 20 minutes talking to a Grubhub rep and got our food reordered and delivered 35 minutes later, but Grubhub would not give me any compensation for having to look around to try to find our food and having to wait more than an hour and a half to get our lunch. The food, once it arrived was good. I had a brisket sandwich and potato salad. The brisket from Federalist Pig was excellent. My friend also liked her kale salad.Next time I'll just pick up my order.

Truly a pathetic ripoff. We will never ever order from them again even though some of the food tasted good, there is nothing to it. Ridiculous!!!

Unbelivable - but in a BAD way. Maybe I was expecting too much from looking at the menu. Since I had read reviews that said many deliveries had come w/ missing items, instead of ordering on line, we went into the store to order and took a walk around the block while our dinners were being prepared. We didn't see any other customers or anyone coming to pick up food, so it didn't seem busy. TWICE I asked the woman behind the counter, if my dinner came w/ crispy potato skins as it said on the description and twice she said it did--- so, of course, there were no potato skins, crispy or otherwise. Probably didn't matter since an order of potato wedges tasted like cardboard. We agreed that the meat in both the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich (Carolina on My Mind) was too dry to be tasty AND there were a few pieces of flabby fat in the pork which was not appetizing. I usually only write glowing reviews. Even if everything wasn't perfect, if I enjoyed the meal and felt the restaurant was trying to make eating the food enjoyable, then I will give at least 3 or 4 stars. Dont think I've ever bothered to review before when I am so disappointed and giving only 1 star -- which is one star too much in this case.

Great chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese. Maybe I am wrong with this opinion however and maybe it's just where tech is currently going but it was weird to ask for a phone number for a take out order.

At first, I was excited to try the food at Ensemble, and visit Pizza TBD to taste their Queen Margherita pizza.Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the pizza and was surprised they would consider charging $15.99 for this small personal sized pie. The dough was extremely thick and flavor was way too salty. It tasted as if I were eating a savory pastry instead of a pizza.Overall, I would not recommend visiting for the pizza. There are much better options to eat especially in downtown Bethesda.

Honestly the food is just okay, and it’s not cheap. The concept of it is neat, and the location is good for pickup, but just not the worth the price.
