After tea at Hillwood Estate, my friends and I stopped by the Cherry Blossom Festival Pop-up Bar at Fiavola Restaurant inside The Bethesdan. It will be there until 4/14. The restaurant was decorated with cherry blossom garlands and cherry petal pillows. The service was better at the bar than the table. For drinks, we enjoyed the Cherry Blossom inspired cocktails, including Japanese Slipper and Blossom 75, and Pinot Grigios. For food, we enjoyed the Slider Trio, Poutine, and Suntory Whisky Glazed Chicken Wings. The Slider Trio consisted of a burger, crabcake, and fried chicken thigh slider. Among the three sliders, my fiance enjoyed the crabcake the most. I liked how the chicken wings were sweet and tangy and came with carrots and celery served with ranch dipping sauce. It was a bit messy to eat, but that was expected.

Great place and great food. The Restaurant is located at The Bethesdan Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The Bartenders are friendly and can make amazing drinks.

What a fun way to bring in the new year! Me and my partner waited until the last minute, of course to get a reservation anywhere else so I was surprised this place even had availability. It was a ghost town but the decorations were beautiful, the food was amazing and the grinch drinks were delicious. It was all such a nice surprise. We will be back again.

The photos and information available are completely deceiving. This restaurant is in the bottom of the Bethesdan Hotel and is more of a cafe, definitely not a restaurant. The Grinch Experience only consists of special menu items. They should be embarrassed.

Henry was a great bartender, despite serving numerous guests at once, he was calm, collected, and polite to everyone. He was incredibly receptive to our service needs, and went above and beyond.

Fialova is a restaurant for visitors that like the comfort of being in there hotel. I had the crab cake entry which came with risotto and asparagus and some type of white sauce. Food was underwhelming in taste and presentation; this was not good representation of The Maryland crab cakes. The salmon was season well, but the sides rissoto and veggies were not not.

Patrick our bartender provided beyond excellent service & fabulous conversation when he is not working hard. Food is excellent and would highly recommend happy hour from 5-7pm. Great ambiance!

This restaurant offers a tranquil, tidy, and cozy dining experience located on the first floor of the Bethesdan hotel. Convenient parking is available behind the building. The menu is concise with reasonable prices. The food is good, and the service is swift. We ordered the slider trio, glazed salmon, and crab cakes, and everyone loved their appetizers and main courses. The hotel and restaurant staff are both welcoming and hospitable. Great to visit if your in the area.

Food and service were very good. I enjoyed the short rib quesadilla and chili, and my friend had a salad with steak. The lighting is a bit too bright for my liking but the decor is casual and relaxed.

This is a hotel restaurant. It was basically empty on a Saturday night, which was a red flag. Setting was pleasant - comfortable. Server was attentive. Food was overpriced and mediocre. Bethesda has much better restaurant options.

Very nice, quiet atmosphere. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and very attentive. He carefully labored over my friend's three (3) Makers Mark old fashions. And those are a pain in the neck to make! Another cool thing was that they served beer and wine after the bar closed, you just have to order it from the concierge desk.

Didn't realize this was a hotel restaurant that's right in the lobby—very casual feel. Bar was closed on Father's Day; had to beg for mimosas. Servers were nice & did a great job, food was ok, ambiance awful.
