Originally from New England. Lived in NOVA (Woodbridge) now for 25 years. Had no idea Frank pepe pizza was 45 miles away. Had it for the first time since living here and almost cried ?? Delicious!

We came here with some friends who went to the original location in New Haven, CT. They were thrilled to see this one open at the Montgomery Mall near their home. For my wife and I, we just wanted good, old fashioned American pizza with many toppings since we live in Germany. We get great pizza there, but the pepperoni is clearly different and toppings are limited. The service here was good, but nothing special. The pizza was very tasty and had plenty of toppings on the Special with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, peppers, and onions. The glass of wine was a let down, especially for the price. All in all, a hearty lunch with pizza to take home for another meal.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor with no stairs.

The pizza was awesome. I enjoyed the lunch special. The parking lot was pretty full, but that gave us some exercise before the meal. Our server was very prompt. The restaurant was fairly busy, considering the fact that it was a weekday.

Best pizza in the area. 5th visit to this location. New Haven pizza, while expensive, is pure joy. Excellent crust, perfect sauce and lots of toppings. It is pricey, 1 large pep, two beers and salad came to $75 incl tip.The large pie fed three people and there were leftovers to take home.Had to wait for a table late on Saturday night. So it is still popular.

Good luck finding a way in to pick up when the mall's closed but they're still taking orders...

My daughter gave my grand daughter a birthday party at the Jokly Yolly Kids . The pizza was burnt and dry . Poor service and customer service I wouldn’t recommend this to no one .

Go to Andy’s pizza. First time trying frank Pepe’s and I wasn’t impressed. The crust, sauce, and cheese is all better at Andy’s. Everything was lacking flavor and the crust was was flavorless and too crunchy.

This establishment serves burnt pizza and is staffed by kids that don't care. The crust is serverly burnt and leaves a bad acrid taste which ruins the whole pizza. Waitress never bothered to refill drinks and when when asked for the check, disappeared for 15 minutes even though the restaurant was empty. Had to go up to counter to ask for the check.

My favorite pizza in DMV. Pretty much tastes the same as the original one in New Haven.

I’ve heard of Frank Pepe’s but didn’t realize they franchised, until a colleague told me about this location. Based on the reputation and promise of New Haven style pizza, I had to make the drive to Bethesda to check it out.The restaurant is tucked inside the Montgomery Mall. I was expecting a wait, but we were able to walk in and sit down immediately. The restaurant wasn’t busy and the waitstaff members were quick to take our drink orders, while we looked over the menu. They have a very straightforward menu - pizza with a variety of toppings, and salads. We decided to try the basic tomato and mozzarella pizza, as well as the meatball and ricotta pizza. They certainly did not disappoint - absolutely fantastic! The toppings, sauce, and crust were delicious; and I loved the little bit of char on the crust. Everything was delicious! The waitstaff were friendly, polite, and efficient. I truly have no complaints. The prices are slightly higher than a typical pizza chain; however, this pizza is superior and well-worth the higher cost. I look forward to visiting again to try some of their different pizzas. If you’re looking for great pizza and in the Bethesda area, this is definitely worth a visit! Thanks!

Excited to try, but very disappointed. Extremely understaffed; therefore, service was very slow. Such as server forgot salads because they did not have anyone working the salad station in the kitchen. Ordered tomato pie, clam, and cheese w/ bacon. Pizza was good, not great. Tried it, one and done.
