Great bread and croissants!

started out making authentic, great baguettes. Now basically the same as super market quality baguettes. Sad to taste the change, but de-evolution is real.

Love the baguettes, croissants, and croque monsieurs. For a very special treat, try the tarte normande.

amazing helpful to me when in bind! quality of food and attention to me and going out of the way is second to none!

Great service and great food. The best sandwiches need the best bread. All the sandwiches here are fresh and made on the spot. Try the latte too!

Ancient grains is a terrific bread. Croissants, scones, and muffins are very nice also. Small quiches are very good.

Freezer burn tasting pastries and strange rule that I couldn't buy more than 4 croissants. Came in Thursday morning hoping to pick up some assorted pastries and I was told I could not buy a lot due to limited stock and they work very hard in the mornings to bake them. That was a bit confusing and I was limited to only 4 plain croissants. I saw that I was also double charged for the boxes, so I paid for 6 boxes when I only used 3. Then I thought, these are going to taste amazing because of the scarcity, but no. The croissants had a freezer burn taste to them and the chocolate croissants had a minuscule inch of chocolate inside. It was $80 for the 3 boxes I got and I tipped 15%. Idk why I did that...I love supporting local but when local can't even sell me products and also doesn't taste very good, what's the point.

Outstanding organic breads and artisan pastries (Viennoiserie are tops!) make Fresh Baguette a go-to to enjoy exemplary French bakery treats, especially the savory Crogel (croissant sandwiches) and seasonal offerings like the Passion Fruit Croissant (summer) and the Pumpkin Cruffin (hybrid of croissant in a muffin shape during the autumn)! Gary leads a team of very personable and courteous staff that makes the Bethesda location a true star versus the occasionally brusque Rockville spot.Vegetarian options: As with most bakeries, the majority of options don't include meat.Parking: There are 2 spots in front of the bakery with a third one sometimes available and one more that is a temporary standing zone.Kid-friendliness: Wholesome treats that are attractive to burgeoning and refine palates alike!

The bread, pastries, sandwiches, and other items are wonderful. We've been shopping there ever since it opened at least twice a week.

Best sourdough in town. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The basic drip coffee is also outstanding.
