Simply put, these cupcakes are not good. The cake itself is dry. Size not representative of price. Frosting on vanilla2 was off. I will not return.

I have been ordering from Georgetown Cupcakes for the last 5 years and this year will be the last time..the last two years when we receive the cupcakes they are always sideways and frosting ruined or smuahed into another. For $80 and over $100 last year I am disappointed about the quality and service plus they were dry this year. This year I picked them up to avoid them from being messed up and still no avail. Unless you see them bag it up with care please save your money and go somewhere else

Staled cupcakes ☹️We have ordered cupcakes from this location for quite sometime now whenever we hosted or go to events, even though this location is 18 miles from my home. Recently, I placed an order for pick up which my husband and son picked up for our event. While they were there, they ordered additional cupcakes. We can’t even begin to tell you how disappointed we were with the all the cupcakes this time. They were all stale! Even our kid said the same thing. We felt it was such a waste of money. I sent an email to this location with my feedback and, sadly, no one even responded with an acknowledgement. They’ve lost loyal customers!

We ordered cupcakes for our daughter’s birthday party. Instead of delivering them at our home, they delivered 2 miles away. Thanks to the kind lady who called us and let us know that the cupcakes got delivered to the wrong address. This is the second time they messed up. The first time around they delivered at our home, 4 out of 12 cupcakes were stuck to each other and couldn’t be used.

Hello! I wish I could give it five star but I can’t. Horrible experience in this store by giving me old cupcakes that was hard. I will just be going back to the one in dc location.

Solid cupcakes. It is fun to go there and see all the different types of flavours. The actual maintenance though can be improved, such as the boards with the cupcake names. Some are covered poorly and the overall place could just be given some TLC. However, the staff is very kind, mostly young folks who seem to be enjoying where they work but don't neglect the customer when they're at the register.

I do really like Georgetown Cupcake but felt like my last experience wasn’t so great. I have gestational diabetes & if I am going to splurge once it’s well thought out in advance. I think it was 5:30 on a Friday, so about 3.5 hours before closing. I wanted red velvet, which I assume is a popular flavor, but they were all sold out of it (again think this is a little surprising with 3.5 hours left of store time but maybe that’s the norm). I asked if they had other cream cheese style icing cupcakes, and the girl at the register didn’t know, so she asked the guy working the back, who also just confirmed no. I picked alternate flavors and only to be told there weren’t sufficient of the flavor I picked (I asked for 3 of the birthday flavor and there were 2 - fine I get it)…BUT what kind of annoyed me is, I had a free moment to look at the menu after leaving (in store the line was long and I was relying on the in store associates to help me find something similar which they told me didn’t exist) and I see there are several other flavors that also have cream cheese style icing - at least 3 other ones (a chocolate one, a vanilla one, and a gingerbread one). When I was at the store, I literally asked the girl at the register “so no other cupcake made here has cream cheese style icing?” and the answer was “no”. Kind of disappointed - the staff should know the product and alternatives, or at least be helpful “if you like this, try X”.There were also cupcakes on display which I was willing to purchase but she said they don’t sell those cupcakes; however, when I got to the store and stood in line there were two red velvet ones that suddenly were not there when I got to the front of the line. Idk, it wasn’t a great experience and I would expect better for $4 a pop on cupcakes. I was excited to have a cupcake but the experience sucked, and what I ended up with was just ok.

Cupcakes were ready to be picked up on time. Favorite red velvet and the peanut butter fudge. Moist and frosting delicious. 4 stars because the cupcakes were sideways when I opened the box.

Awful, terribly overpriced. Cupcakes were flavorless and bland. The only thing I could taste was butter.

My sister bought me a 6-pack of all of their non-chocolate seasonal cupcakes. Each differently-flavored one was delicious.
