Hi, I'm sorry I have to say that your waiter was not friendly to me. Is it because I am Muslim and wear the hijab? Please improve your service further and not discriminate in service

So I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with boba (cost extra of $0.75+tax) today, first impression, very slow service. Then I discovered the cup was leaking so I went back, all they did was gave me another empty plastic cup to put inside, then I said I want a refund. They didn't want to give refund so they finally offered me another same one and threw my cup away. However, the 2nd one they made they didn't add back the boba that I paid extra for. When I asked about it, the owner/manager re-opened it, dumped out some liquid, and put tiny scoop of boba (I think I could count the number of bobas) back. My original order had much more boba. Also the new bobas had NO taste to it whatsoever. The owner/manager didn't apologize at all and looked mad 'cuz I asked about it. Hey, I paid extra for boba, you need to replace it with SAME ingredients or provide a full refund. Just for reader's reference, a typical drink there run about $6+/- a cup before tax (since they don't offer smaller size), and adding boba to it, your drink is more like $8+/- after tax, which is very pricey for a drink.By the way, I have been to many other boba milk tea chains in the USA, most include bobas as part of the drinks, that's why the stores are called BOBA whatever store. Boba should be included and not as EXTRA cost item. My first time to this milk tea chain and it will also be my last. Terrible customer service and terrible owner/manager experience.

Hong Kong also has Kung Fu tea, but the American one is not as delicious as Hong Kong’s. I don’t know if the Kung Fu tea in the two places is the same company. This Kung Fu Tea shop has no faults. It’s not particularly delicious but it’s not terrible. If there were resting booths to choose from, I would definitely not buy this one. If there are no other similar shops nearby, it’s something you can buy and drink. . A cup is about six dollars, normal price.

Absolutely love the honey milk green tea at Kung Fu Tea! Been coming here for years now. The perfect blend of creamy milk, delicate green tea, and just the right amount of honey sweetness. It's a soothing and refreshing treat that never fails to satisfy my taste buds. The quality and consistency are top-notch, making every sip a delightful experience. Definitely a must-try if you're a fan of unique and delicious beverages!

How do you mess up kung fu tea?Ordered two taro large, 70% sugar. Took nearly ten minutes to get despite there not being a line. The employees were all just standing around talking, laughing, and playing on their phones. Our drink didn’t start to be made until 5 minutes in, and there was no one before us.Then we got our drinks. One was definitely 100% sugar and the other one tasted like 200% sugar. We have taro kung fu tea often at other locations so we know what the sugar levels taste like.If the owner is reading this, please get your employees in line. That’s why this place has bad reviews. But I guess if the money keeps coming in…. We won’t be ordering from here anymore though.

Consistently takes a long time for order to be filled. More often than not, they do not have what I ordered and need to substitute or issue a refund. Counter is usually uncomfortably crowded due to its location next to two main entrances in the mall food court.

The cashier had headphones on and clearly didn’t care about taking my order for a caffeinated beverage - they keyed it incorrectly and refused to change it when I pointed this out. I then was overcharged and received a caffeinated drink. Go to one of the other Boba shops in Montgomery mall!

Ordered my regular drink with bubbles and herbal jelly. Some worker forgot the bubbles, which I understand. But my mistake was was walking away without examining my order, because I’ve not had it made wrong before.By the time I realized the lack of bubbles, I’ve already sat down and drank it halfway as I was focusing on my hw. When I walked back and asked for a refund, I was met with a very aggressive employee who approached me as if I was scamming her out of a drink. Now I know I wasn’t being the easiest customer by insisting on a refund instead of accepting the bubbles they were offering to add to my drink. But at the end of my work day, I just didn’t want an extra sweet drink with full scoop of bubbles and half the milk tea. So when the other employees offered to add the bubbles belatedly, I rejected and asked if I could be refunded instead. That’s when this young girl stepped in and very sternly told me “no refund, either take the bubbles or your drunken drink as is”. Her attitude baffled me, and honestly, because I felt hurt that I was somehow being perceived as not acting in good faith, it made me double down on being refunded.I explained that I only asked to keep my current incorrect drink because I wouldn’t want it to be thrown away. But I also don’t want it remade at this point and would like to have my money back please. She kept saying “that’s not possible” and questioned why I’d want my “basically empty drink refunded” in a very antagonizing way, until this man who seems to be her manager stepped in, found my order in their system for refund. And although I walked away getting what I asked for, that whole exchange just left me feeling worse about my financial situation where I’m penny pinching for seven dollars and some change that’s gate-kept by a self-righteous teenager.Anyways, this is my first Google review where I rant on like this, but you can be the judge, the whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth, and will make me think twice before ordering from this stall again.

For whatever reason this location is never as consistent in how they make their drinks. I'm a frequent Kung Fu Tea patron of almost every location in MoCo & Tyson's area, always ordering the same thing for more than 7 years now. (Peach Oolong, 70% sugar, less ice w/boba)Sometimes it's almost like they've done more sugar than they're supposed to, other times it's like they've forgotten the peach syrup. I don't think the experience has been the same more than once in a row. Other locations (Rockville town center, pike & rose) don't seem to suffer from this issue.

Awful Taro Milk Tea. No taro flavor! Over $8 after tax (and 20% tip!) -- a complete scam. The nerve to actually ask me to make sure and choose a tip option after I ordered my drink. I don't know what he put in that drink to turn it purple, but it might as well have been water and purple food coloring for all of the boring blandness and tastelessness. Yelp should have a zero Stars option.

I always drink my favorite type of tea so I know how exactly it should taste like and also look like. The drink is usually a transparent reddish color. They put so much syrup in it that the drink given to me was BLACK. And it was EXTREMELY sweet. I took one sip and I was done. They were rude and refuse to remake my order and said this is how it is. 4 of them there, already had no business, and didn’t even know how to make one drink. Is this how you treat your loyal customers?

I wish they would acknowledge people when they’re trying to pick up their order. Two employees didn’t even look at me or say anything. I grabbed my drink from partially behind the counter due to waiting with no help.
