We walked in with our family of 7 (5 kids ages 12 & under) on Easter Sunday. Not familiar with the restaurant, we didn't realize that they can be very busy during lunch hours. They accommodated us, despite our lack of reservation. They were beyond friendly & the food was phenomenal. We'll definitely be visiting again during our trip.

The only thing I'm mad about is the fact that I didn't have enough room for the food! This place was welcoming and the food was delicious. We got the rosemary garlic naan (two baskets) and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Worth the 2 hr drive. ??

Wouldn't visit again - I ordered food to take away, and actually enjoyed the taste of the food. Issue was with the value - the butter chicken meal is $16, and came with an 8oz container of plain basmati rice, and a container only slightly larger with exactly 6 bite-size pieces of chicken, with the rest of it sauce. Luckily I ordered naan as well so that it was almost a full meal, but with the expectation to tip on orders that aren't served or delivered anymore, the total came to almost $27 and I was left genuinely hungry. It's a shame, since I would have otherwise revisited based on the flavor of what I ordered.

Appetizers were good, main course food was on bit sweeter side, might be good for the sweet loving people'

I would rate this restaurant 3 and a half stars. The best part being the portions are really good for the prices, especially if you get the meal deal which I did for delivery. I got butter chicken, saag paneer, samosa chaat and mango lassi. The butter chicken was good but I would have liked for it to have a bit more cream than tomato sauce. Saag is great. Samosa chaat is okay, mango lassi is a little sweet for me compared to others I’ve tried. Bonus is the naan is very fresh and they give you a lot, and the entrees come with rice. All in all, a great bargain and lots of food for the price, not my favorite indian food but I would order again. They will make it spicy which is better than a lot of other Indian restaurants in Bethesda, and the food definitely has flavor!!

Thank you Tikka Masala for being open on Christmas evening 2023! After opening a bunch of presents and hanging out with the family, one thing led to another, all our food was gone and we were starving, so a quick scan of the interwebs found Tikka Masala open on Christmas! We got chicken tikka masala, shrimp tikka masala, butter chicken, loads of garlic naan, and hopped into the car for pickup. Soon we were all enjoying the flavorful, smooth tastes and textures of a genuine Indian meal. The garlic naan was soft and warm, very garlicky and soaked up all the curries. The chicken and shrimp dishes were cooked perfectly, evenly balanced, not too spicy and the dishes came with plenty of rice to act as a tikka masala delivery vehicle. I'm already thinking ahead to next Christmas at Tikka Masala! Hopefully they'll be open again.

Food was absolutely delicious, and for an incredibly reasonable price. Got the butter chicken and the paneer Tikka masala and both were delicious. Server even offered us more rice to take home when we took the last bits of food to go. Fully recommend this place to any lovers of Indian food!
