I had my 22nd birthday dinner here on February 25th and it’s the best decision I’ve made so far in 2024. I was treated like a queen! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service…EXCEPTIONAL! They gave me the best birthdays ever!! Thank you Morton’s The Steakhouse. I couldn’t have asked for a more picture perfect experience ??

I have been to numerous steakhouses, but this one, should be in a while category of it's own. This location treated me and my fiance like ROYALTY. From the moment we walked in we felt at home and very comfortable. The upscale energy and intimate dining experience provided for an excellent night. Our server Katherine was SUPERB. She really made me feel as if I KNEW steak. The management made sure to deliver excellent service as well, which isn't a norm for upscale restaurants. Last but not least, the Chef ??? NEEDS to be hired for a billionaire. My steak was PERFECT, that's all I can say.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate my mother’s 73rd birthday. This was our first time at Morton’s the Steakhouse in Bethesda, MD. and we were so impressed. Our sever Lorena, was so hospitable and greeted us in our native language “Selam”, my mother was dress in traditional Ethiopian clothing for the special occasion. Her greeting really set the tune for the evening. Our server was very helpful and attentive as was Neils, the manager. Our food was delicious and cooked to perfection. We three ordered different steaks and each were unbelievable. Our side perfectly complemented our selections. From the starters, cocktails, wine selection, and ending with dessert. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the service, food, and ambiance of this classic restaurant. Morton’s surpassed it reputation as the ultimate dining experience.

Rude! This restaurant is in a hotel. I walked in at 3:50 p.m., and two incredibly rude and surly servers told me the restaurant was closed and not open yet in the most unfriendly and unpleasant tone they could muster. No thanks, ladies!! I'll take my money elsewhere

Amazing date night, our server, (Alexander) was very attentive, and informative. The drinks were perfectly balanced. The appetizer of Bacon Wrapped Scallops was incredible, with a special homemade sauce. The Cajun Prime Rib cooked to a perfect Medium Rare was incredibly tender and filling! The Filet Mignon was to die for, along with the perfect and HEFTY loaded baked potato. Topped off with a deliciously perfect Homemade Key Lime pie. Definitely a staple in the Bethesda area. Will be returning soon!

As Valentine's Day holds the promise of romance and indulgence, my partner and I sought out the perfect setting to celebrate our love. Our quest led us to Morton's The Steakhouse, and what a sensational experience it turned out to be! From the moment we stepped through the elegant doors of Morton's, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of sophistication and warmth. The ambiance was intimate, with soft lighting casting a romantic glow over the tastefully appointed interior. The gentle hum of conversation added to the sense of anticipation as we were ushered to our table. The impeccable service began as soon as we were seated, with our attentive server guiding us through the menu with expert knowledge and genuine enthusiasm. We opted for the Valentine's Day special, a meticulously crafted prix fixe menu that promised to tantalize our taste buds and elevate our dining experience to new heights. Each course was a masterpiece in its own right, showcasing the finest ingredients and culinary expertise that Morton's is renowned for. We started with an exquisite array of appetizers, including a succulent jumbo shrimp cocktail and velvety lobster bisque, setting the stage for the gastronomic journey that awaited us. As we savored each mouthwatering bite of our perfectly cooked steaks, accompanied by decadent sides like truffle mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, it became evident why Morton's is synonymous with excellence in steakhouse dining. The steaks were expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with each tender slice melting in our mouths and leaving us craving more. No Valentine's Day celebration would be complete without a sweet finale, and Morton's did not disappoint. We indulged in a sinfully delicious selection of desserts, from rich chocolate lava cake to creamy New York cheesecake, each one a fitting end to our culinary adventure.

On a positive note, I thought the ambiance of the restaurant was really cozy and clean. That's the only positive thing I could say about my first experience at this location. Possibly last visit to this location in all honesty. I visited this location a few weeks ago during restaurant week because I was craving a steak. I ordered the meatball appetizer (cold and bland), the lobster mac and cheese (cold and gross) and the filet mignon with truffle butter (cold) and onion rings (hot and delicious). I ordered the steak medium. I received medium rare. I sent back the mac and cheese for the simple fact that it was freezing cold and I thought it would be better quality. There was hardly any cheese on top. I only took one bite. What offended me most was the attitude from the male bartender. I did not put up a fuss and I embarrassingly apologized for complaining about the dish and sending it back. Instead of just taking the plate away, he yelled across the bar at a female bartender that I did not like it with a scoff on his face. It doesn't sound bad when you read this review, but it was embarrassing since all the guests looked my way. I know you have to communicate with your team about why you must remove an item from a guests' bill, but do you have to make it awkward? For dessert, I had ordered the raspberry soufflé. Instead, I received the orange soufflé. I still ate it because I was still embarrassed to even send back that item! The only item I enjoyed were the onion rings with the truffle sauce. To top it all off, the bartender, Lee or Levi, was inattentive and looked as if he could care less about me joining the bar. Fast forward to me receiving the bill, I gave him my credit card. I left a $25 tip, which I think is decent considering the attitude. Once I finished signing the receipt, he took the checkbook and read the tip and scoffed again! I'm sorry, but that attitude is unacceptable. Almost wish I could go back in time and talk to a manager right then. When visiting an establishment of this caliber, aren't you supposed to receive better service? Why is service so bad these days? What type of training or standards do you have when people spend their hard money to dine at your restaurant??

This was our first time in Bethesda Morton’s to celebrate my husband’s birthday and I can say the staff went above and beyond to make it a special night for us. The menu was specially printed celebrating his birthday and they even took a photo of us and printed it(!) as a present. The waiters were very attentive, too. Finally, I had to change the reservation from 4 to 2 people and they were very understanding, the lady at the front was very helpful. We had a former celebration and we were not very hungry so just had crème spinach ($14) and fillet mignon ($54)both of which were fine (I do not like red meat that much and can only eat it well-done which is a crime I know :-) so to be fair, the meat was not that great because of my preference, it was naturally dry). But Crème brûlée was delicious! My favorite thing about the night was the cocktail though - their special margarita (Cocktail reserve, MARGARITA MILLONARIA with Don Julio 1942 Añejo Tequila, Sūpāsawā, Nixta Licor) which was quite pricey ($35) but totally worth it.Overall, it was a good experience and I recommend it. It is a solid 4,5 stars ⭐️
