I love Nando's! I even had my birthday dinner here. This location has indoor and outdoor seating, the environment is very nice, and the prices are affordable. I almost always get the bowl which has rice, chicken (I always get the lemon and herb, but you can opt for a spicier version), arugula, red peppers, corn and hummus. I also really enjoy their sides (roasted veggies or Brussels sprouts depending on the season).

The Bethesda Nando's hands down great staff. Made a small mistake and on my next visit, they insisted fixing that mistake, and as a customer that made my day. Thanks to the the team, keep up the great work.

Tasty Meal/Generous Portion! I tried Nando's first time today. Located in Downtown Bethesda, on Busy Bethesda Ave. I ordered carry-out. This eatery is spacious w/varied seating i.e. Tables/chairs, booths & bar height seating. I placed my order @the counter/waited for my order. I didn't realize it's a "semi-cook to order" format. My order took about 15 mins. My order: "marinated tomato, halloumi & chicken salad" Romaine, arugula, & mixed greens w/peri peri chicken strips, marinated heirloom tomatoes, Grilled halloumi cheese, house made croutons & balsamic vinaigrette dressing. See Photos! And "Blood Orange/Mango Lemonade." & brownie. Yes an exotic lunch I do say. Generous portion. Delicious fresh ingredients. The grilled halloumi cheese-tasty creamy, rubbery, salty flavor in good way. I got the chicken "plainish" menu term-as I wasn't sure of spice level! Yes it tasted plainish w/hint of heat. Also a bit dry. Together in salad it all worked fine. Next time I'll request extra dressing. The blood orange/Mango lemonade bright flavorful & tasty-sweet/sour sensation! Great friendly customer service!

Good food, subpar service, in store and on the website. Picked up some food to take home and the fries and dessert were missing from the kids' menu. Called the store and nobody picks up. Went online to my order and there was no place to submit feedback. "For issues please contact store"...

I’m usually not one to write reviews but this is by my mother’s request. We dined here the other day and as my mother and I approached the restaurant the short hispanic girl at front kindly opened the door for us and made sure we had a table that was confortable enough for my mother and where she would have space for her walker. The young lady also opened the door for us as we left and was very sweet. We dined at another restaurant and did not receive the type of service we received at this Nando’s. Such kind staff, and delicious food. Thank you.

Mmm the best one eveeer! Love the menus and the originality of its design and jokes (the spice meter). Spicy is all I've ever wanted and this restaurant always gives me the right amount. Will keep coming back

Tasty as always with all the sauces, but portions were a little on the small side even with two sides. Didn’t feel full after the meal. Also the special Peri French fries were woefully under-seasoned, tasting very bland, and the cashier said I couldn’t have more of the Peri salt for them.

This was my second or third time at Nando's but first at this location. I got the peri peri chicken bowl (a new addition to the menu) but wasn't too impressed with the flavors. Overall was pretty bland which was disappointing. I got medium spicy level.

faced with an uncertain future, nandos peri peri has done well accommodating its guest with good chicken. the dining staff was friendly and they went to many great lengths to make sure we were fed. recently i dined with several others (not alone) and ate a chicken sandwich. the array of spices were a little confusing and i would not recommend for those who do know what they want to eat. during our stay a child sat munching on his food behind my head -- bits of chicken gathered on my seat cushion. horrific.

Why is Nando's been going down hill for the last 2-3 years? Once one of the best fast casual spots around! Everyone I talk to thinks the same thing. The changed up a bunch a items some time ago and destroyed them. The chicken wrap was my favorite then the added a spring mix to it and give you so much less chicken. Also it's just off, doesn't taste the same. Another thing I used to get was the butterfly chicken breast and it was a healthy size of chicken. Last two times I ordered it it was tiny. Anyways I gave up on Nando's. My guess they grew too fast or got bought out by a larger Corp because quality just keeps going down. Way to ruin a good thing.

Felt like I had to bring my American boyfriend to Nando's for a taste of home and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The chicken was well seasoned and tender and he loved the chicken Caesar as well. We got to-go boxes for the road and will definitely be back.

After a long day, I placed my order online for pick up. Quick pickup, however, when I got home, the order was SO WRONG! I ordered chicken livers plain-ish...I got four chicken tenders...plainest that looked like 4 tails of an animal with nothing on it. I called and they promised me a refund. I received an email that also promised a refund. I was charged and five days later, still no refund. I inquired and was told my refund would take 2 weeks!!! Unbelievable in this day and age of technology. I’m done with Nando’s...

The 1/2 chicken we ordered was spicy as expected with peri peri sauce. Staff was friendly. Too bad we don't have them here in St Louis.

Nando's is a great in-between when you don't want to sit in a dine-in restaurant and don't want food that's already sitting there (e.g. Chipotle, Cava, Bibibop, etc). I've been going to the Bethesda Ave Nando's for years now and it's a staple in my list of places to eat. Today I stopped by for a late lunch. I ordered a chicken wrap with mashed potatoes and grilled corn, with a red sangria. The wrap is always good, but I've noticed it's pretty inconsistent at this location. Some days I get slices of red pepper or cucumber, which gives it a nice crunch. Other days I get no red pepper but arugula instead. Today was one of the unlucky days where I didn't get a lot of crunch veggies. The sangria was decent, I wish it had more fruit than just 3 pieces of apple and some ice to keep it cold (had to add it myself). Overall, this place is pretty decent. I've had no major issues with the food and I'm glad they're still here despite the pandemic.
