I am not a big fan of pizza, but I found their pizzas quite good, nicely baked with yummy thin crust. Other appetizers like stuffed bell papers were nuce, too. The atmosphere is cozy enough. The restaurant was buzy, but there was still a relatively quiet ambiance, and the servers did not appear to be frantically running around. The service could have been faster as most of the food items are relatively fast to prepare, especially since we came shortly after 5 pm when the restaurant just started filling up. Parking might be tough to find on Fridays so you would have to go around the block to find a metered spot or a garage.

Overall we had a nice experience however it wasn’t a completely consistent. The pizza crust was fantastic. However, the sauce on our margarita pizza was a bit watery. We will try a different pie next time. Skip the grilled zucchini. It is served cold and is basically six very thin slivers, which aren’t really worth what you pay for. The ambience was great. The place definitely had a nice vibe and there were plenty of servers and great service.

Amazing food, being going here since 2013 - great knowledgable staff that knows the menu front and back. Shoutouts to Christopher and Maddie and the entire FOH staff. (along with the cooks and owner) Consistency is great and a great dining experience all around! My favorite pizza is the "Brussel Sprouts" it will shock you! Anyway, great food - great company.Dietary restrictions: Great options for the vegetarian and vegans.

Amazing neighbourhood Gem . Pizzas rank tied first for me with two Amy’s.. if that helps .. also like pizza paradiso but DAMarco is tastier.. plus they have amazing other menu items which stand out.. don’t forget their Nutella calzone for dessert!!!! Omg!I also love their pirate, pine nut and artichoke dish! Must they .. only in season! Nice and relaxed staff .. and great feeling !

Went here for a business lunch on a Thursday. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. Service was attentive and fast. I had the arugula salad and a classic Margherita Pizza. Delicious!

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Cool restaurant and great people!Fast, friendly and competent. Good advice! Spacious furnishings, looks very Italian.Had salad and bruchketta as starters.Very well known in town. Definitely try it!
Pizzeria Da Marco hosted our team’s year-end celebration and we did a buyout of the restaurant. Alessandro was highly communicative and responsive, and worked through every detail to ensure our event would be perfect… curating an incredible menu (everyone loved the food), procuring specialty wines and setting up the space to accommodate all our needs. We had a delicious variety of apps, salads, pizzas, pastas and desserts. Everything was served fresh and there was a constant flow of food and drinks. Every server (especially Maddie and Emily) and bartender was attentive. The entire evening was handled flawlessly! Highly recommend!

Going downhill? I have been eating and loving this pizza since it opened 10+ years ago. At that time I had my family and I had just returned Italy, and ate pizza in Naples. I also lived in Italy 35 years ago and have traveled there 40+ times since. I know and love pizza. Pizzeria da Marco was very traditional. And it has been a mainstay for us; delicious, reliable. Chewy and flavorful crust, not too brittle, nor soggy. Their sauce is excellent, and the cheese to sauce ratio has been perfect every time. I was very disappointment at lunch today that hopefully was not typical. But it made me concerned that this reliable spot is in fact declining. My Margherita Classica was smaller than it had been, the crust was not chewy, but thinner than normal and dried like a cracker, yet the center was soggy. and there was inadequate sauce. The management needs to do some quality assurance.

This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Bethesda! Service is always top notch, food is great and it's never too crazy in there. They've also got a fabulous hh and 1/2 wine bottles on Wednesdays!! As an updated review: Eric the bartender who has been there everytime we've been there is amazing!!
