Small takeout place but this is my 3rd time getting a bowl here and it does not disappoint. Ingredients are always fresh and you have to make sure of this with poke bowls. I think they also have an option with cooked fish and meat but I have no tried that one

Ordered online. Whoever assembled the order provided only one protein instead of the two ordered. Called the restaurant, but they don't answer calls (I tried twice), and their mailbox is full, so you can't leave a message. There is no other way to reach them. My meal mate actually went back to the restaurant--which I thought would be a waste of time and gas, and it sure was. They offered a second bowl (I don't want one--it'll just go to waste) but wouldn't give a refund. Claimed I didn't call right away, so there was nothing they could do. These people are the worst.

I guess all Poki DC locations are not created equal….learn to take the skin off the mango and if you are going to up-charged for avocado make sure you serve it ripe.

I stopped by Poki DC for a quick lunch, and I was very happy with my poke bowl. The assembly line style made ordering a breeze. Also, they have so many option for each step of the assembly line - the base, protein (2-3), toppings (up to 5), sauces (1-2), and garnishes (1). To me, the prices were pretty fair, I think my 2 protein bowl was around 16 bucks for a large bowl. There definitely was enough food for two servingsPoki DC definitely will stay in my rotation for lunch options in the area.

We've been coming here and eating poke bowls for about a year without issue. Unfortunately, last night we both got food poisoning and barely slept. I know that this was the exception and not the rule, but when dealing with raw ingredients this is just unacceptable. In retrospect, the slightly wet floor must have been from a broken refrigerator, but the Management should have been upfront and communicated that so that we would know the risk and found another way to refrigerate the ingredients otherwise. Be weary if you see the wet floor sign in front of the counter!!!Just wanted to warn others, and also agree that service always feels a bit rushed, and the appearance of the location disheveled and disorganized.

Yum!!!! Colocated with a bubble boba tea place. Pick a base, and protein. Then loads of toppings. Locarb zoodles avail. Next to Not Your Average Joes. Yum!

I ordered two bowls from here, one poke bowl with 3 scoops Poke and one salmon donburi for about $15-$16 each. The ratio of meat to rice is simply offensive, both bowls were 70% brown rice. Servers are snooty with the poke and sides like masago/seaweed. I noticed for the customer behind me they were giving them half-scoops of poke and avoiding to dump the "whole scoop" in the bowl. I can get a better poke bowl with just as much meat for $10 at Harris teeter.

I got the shrimp tempura bowl which was great! I chose the zucchini noodles as a base and it was delicious. I went there yesterday, and I want to return again today lol, I might be addicted. Yum yum.
